Best Buy is ok as far as it goes but it can be difficult to find things in the store. The employees are the reason I give it a 3 star instead of a 1 because at least they are willing to help you & will look for things to try to help you.
The store really needs an aisle/bay/shelf inventory system that employees can call up to assist customers. There are a few home improvement stores that come to mind that do awesome with this. Their employees don’t know where everything is either, but they don’t need to because their system works. I can describe what I want, they can decipher what I’m asking for, search in the system & it will tell them exactly where it is.
Again, the recent visit with the employees was a good experience. Professional, courteous, and willing to help. They just need a system that empowers their employees with easy to call up information rather than be part of the treasure hunt for products.
Worst experience of my life. Can't say enough how bad this store is and the whole encounter of ordering a fridge, people coming to install it but didn't bring the fridge. People coming next week to install an ice maker to a fridge we didn't even get. Now I'm battling getting a refund. On the phone for 5 hours today to deal with this huge issue. Go somewhere else.
Helpful without being pushy. Made a huge difference to our shopping experience that they had tons of laptops available in store to view and try, and also in stock for purchase. Almost nowhere can you do that anymore.
Took our vehicle in for a radio install. The tech did one of the worst jobs I ever seen and damaged our car. He even said he wouldn’t be happy if he was the customer and wrote down that he damaged the vehicle. He tried to use tape to cover the gaps and nothing lined up correctly. Per best buy staff and management, we took our car to Toyota for a repair estimate that was over $2000. We returned to Best Buy and put in a claim. We were told we would have a response within a few days by management, that was over a month ago. Now no one is answering our calls or emails and we can never get anyone on the phone to speak with. Never go here unless you want your vehicle damaged, the photos below are how the car was given to us with new new radio installed, the damage to the dash and steering wheel column, plus the damage still showing after they put the old radio back in.
The assistance manager is fake. He is friendly to your face. But he never follows thur with an answer. Always have to track him down. Then he blames the employees that they did not get back to me. I told an employee that I do not like the assistance manager. They said that's why everyone is leaving. Stay away from the kenosha location.
Hardly anyone working and those that were present could not help me with a simple charger question for my MAC. It would of cost $100 at Best Buy whereas on Amazon, I got a replacement charger for under $20

Now I know why the reviews are always 3 stars or less on brick and mortar stores. Oh, you don't want brick and mortar to go? Well come on customer service. No check out lines. You need to go to the customer service. Very fragmented shelving and assistance.
