Yesterday, I went in to Best Buy to exchange my ear buds. After completing that process, I decided to check out the gaming systems. I looked around and then was greeted by Omar. I asked him what he recommended and he told me what system he liked. He gave the features and also offered the lowest price. I decided to buy it. He checked to make sure they were in stock and recommended games. He was very helpful and informative. He even carried the system out to the car because I was in a wheelchair. If you need help with electronics, Omar is the guy to see. He gives excellent service and is very knowledgeable. Thanks for the help Omar.

Don’t buy TVs from Best Buy warranty and insurance is a rip off, Myself 5 inch 4K I bought three years ago. Looks like it’s chattered, but from the inside, no physical damage from the outside and they told me that they Couldn’t cover it . By all of your electronics from Costco If you’re not satisfied at any given point, you can get your money back . And you get a free three year warranty ! Best Buy is not for the people. This store is by far one of the worst source ever for customer service. It's as if you needed appointment for everything including to speak with the manager. They say they have certified apple repair service yet they don't . Turned me to the apple store. Waited my time . If that's the case then don't offer the service and send Apple users to the Apple store. It was a waste of my time and I asked to speak with the manager and no manager around again a wasting my time

Rarely do I ever have to complain because most places I go to I get excellent service. However, at the Bloomingdale Best Buy, their customer service has declined rapidly. They never have a problem taking my money or selling me warranties but now whenever I have an issue with something that I have purchased, I get the third degree on everything and no service. I purchased a stereo receiver 10 months ago. It quit working. I took it to the store to see .what they could do to either repair it or replace it with another new one. I was not even allowed to go to the customer service desk. They told me under no circumstances do they take walk-ins. I needed to set up an appointment and it would be four days before there would be an appointment available. I said, perhaps it would be best if I just start making my purchases with another business instead of Best Buy. All they did was stand and look at me. No responses. If this is the way, they are training their people, Then management obviously has issues as well. With the type of employment that I have I Deal with the public all day long. I know and meet enough people during the day that I can let them know exactly how they will be treated when they go to Best Buy in Bloomingdale. I see from the other reviews concerning the Best Buy in Bloomingdale that the issues are never resolved. They definitely need to change the name of their business because it certainly should not be called Best Buy!

@BestBuy became so bad since they changed to Total Tech and changed they're customer's service system. I was a Total Tech member since the first weeks it started, almost 2 years ago. 2 days ago I came in a store to purchase a printer, just to find out my Total Tech membership was canceled w/out me asking for it. I lost all my AppleCare+ protections on - 6 months old MacBook Pro, Airpods, Apple tv 4k, 2 iRumba, 2 sonos bar and sub and many more smaller items. The worst part is... I AM !! Still waiting on a delivery of LG washer and dryer to be installed tomorrow. After trying to contact supervisors with authority, all I got is - that membership can not be reinstated. All I have left is the option to purchase a new plan that will affect FUTURE purchases. Got to share some more out of this world experience with @BestBuy The washer and dryer installation was delayed 5 times (not a joke). Just got a call again it will need to delayed until 7/16. We moved to a new house and scheduled the delivery to 2 days before the move... We're now 2 weeks after the move, and have to use a laundromat all this time. My wife is 8 MONTHS PREGNANT, we have a 3 year old at home and my mother in law is staying with us for help. All of us are using a laundromat for 2 weeks !!!! Thank you @BestBuy for not showing up Now for the kicker... I had more than 10 items with protection under Total Tech, I am waiting for washer and dryer, I came to buy a new printer and the rep on the phone told me flat out - "No supervisor will be able to help you" very rudly !!! @BestBuy I had a store manager listen to the call with the rep that argued with me I made a phone call at 3:36 PM to cancel the membership, and the manager told the rep that the membership was canceled at 8 AM !!!!! The manager @BestBuy Schaumburg, IL was shocked at that reply

Avoid buying open box electronics at this location. Bought an excellent condition open box sound bar online that said it would come with all original packaging and accessories. Called the store in the early afternoon to confirm it was in stock because it was an hour drive to get there. Man on the phone repeated that the excellent condition one would come with all accessories and be in near-new condition. So I drive an hour to get there, they bring me the soundbar wrapped in bubble wrap and no box or accessories. I tell them that the listing online said it should come with everything. They wanted to immediately just do a refund and hope Id just leave. Long story short, the manager (?) comes and offers to try to find the accessories.. Gave me a third party adapter, and a Sony remote that wasn’t even the remote that the soundbar should come with and made a comment how “it’s cheaper, so that’s why it didn’t come with it.” Not true because I talked to another location who had the same item and condition they said it should be in box with everything. If the unit was defective, no other Best Buy would accept me bringing in a soundbar advertised as certified excellent that wasn’t in packaging along with a bunch of random accessories. Felt very scammy. Frustrating experience and a big waste of time.

Really disappointed in how a situation was handled earlier today as we were in line waiting to be helped an employee finished helping someone at another counter and a lady walked in with a receipt and was asked if she was there for a pickup just handed the receipt to the guy he said he needed to handle this first as she was trying to return an item that was still in her car. Which I mean customer service is fine but when there is a line of people waiting to purchase items rather than returning items should be more important and the person returning items should have had to wait in line just like everyone else especially without brining the item in at the time. Reasons I typically don't go into retail stores anymore. Not worth the fuel, time and disappointment. I only go to a physical store to see item(s) in person that I may not be sure about then order the best deal I can find online have the item(s) delivered and installed with an installation warranty.
