my boyfriend was RAVING about this place after he tried it… i just thought he had never had an açaí bowl before. well.. the rave was worth it. this place is extravagant. it’s SO good. everything is so fresh and just right. store is clean and cute as well. try it!!!

I love Berries & Bowls, it’s the only place I get my bowls from. However, ordering delivery from this location specifically, is a hit or miss. If you order an hour or so before closing, the employees are rushing & don’t care to get your order right. This is the 2nd time this has happened. I would just go order in person, but that’s not always an option. Tonight, I ordered a tropical spirulina bowl and was sent an açaí bowl with loads of random toppings. It was not the drivers fault because the bag had my name on it, but someone else’s bowl inside. The driver just picks up the bag they are given. When I called, I was told they can’t do anything since I ordered through Uber Eats. So they’re allowed to mess up orders & you’re just supposed to be happy with what you DIDNT order? They can’t even give out a Berries & Bowls credit for the inconvenience? I couldn’t get refunded through Uber because they said I got the order, which was not even MY order. This place is too expensive to be ripping people off like this. Luckily my husband ate it so it didn’t completely go to waste. Do NOT order delivery or pick up from here if you want to actually eat what you ordered 🙃 EDIT AFTER OWNER’S RESPONSE: I would love to be contacted to have my bowl made correctly, free of charge.

We come here almost weekly and love it. I always get the coconut base and then switch up my bowl options every time I come. The coconut base is my favorite and I can’t bring myself to try a different one (haha). Give this place a try, either for a mid day snack or dessert!

I had been looking forward to their opening for some time, so naturally I was really excited for my first visit. But it wasn't impressive. I ordered the kale base with nothing but fruit topping option. The kale base was good, but sweeter than I prefer. The portion was very small and it totaled $14 for one bowl. This would be a good option for dessert or snack, but I wouldn't consider this an option for a meal. The service is good. I would rather continue making my own bowls at home. The portion, price and flavor wasn't worth it.

I finally got to have my first Experience here! It was awesome! Staff was friendly and didn’t make me feel like an idiot for having to be walked through the options. I opted to create my own bowl- and it was scrumptious! Very clean and casual environment. Great for kids! Perfect addition to diversify the Kentlands neighborhood food scene! Thank you again!

I was super excited to try this place out!! I haven't had too many acai bowls so don't have that much to compare to but the bowls here are BIG and filling! They are a bit on the pricy side but they give you SO MUCH FRUIT :D Idk if this is normal but I had literally wholeass banana chopped up into mine which was amaaazing the last acai bowl I had gave me like 6 pieces. There are 5 different bases you can choose from and all of then are pretty solid and flavorful. You can ask to try samples of the base before committing which is super nice of them 🥺 Suprisingly the acai was the worst flavor so my friends and I opted for pitaya and coconut (very sweet!!) The inside is pretty spacious and there's some cute mural art in the back :) Overall this place is a great addition to the Kentlands area, and can definitely see myself coming back, especially in the summer!

Staff was very friendly. Place was cute and clean. However, the açaí is blended with banana. I got the super fruit bowl which is topped with banana, blueberry, pineapple, mango, and kiwi on top, but all I could really taste was banana. The bowls here are more expensive and much smaller than any bowl I’ve ever had, so the fact that the açaí is blended with banana really turned me off.
