Berlin Farmstead Berlin is a place we like to come while in the area. It’s typical Amish homestyle cooking. We opted for the buffet. The salad options were delicious and they have everything you can imagine to put on it. They offer chicken fixed a couple ways, ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing and noodles to name a few items on the buffet. None of the food is overly seasoned but still tastes good. The noodles are delicious and the rolls are incredible. We also love the peanut butter they have for the rolls. They weren’t busy when we were there but they usually are. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. The buffet isn’t cheap but you can go back and eat as much as you want so you can get your moneys worth. We paid $47 for two for buffet and soft drinks. They have baked goods there for sale that you can purchase and take with you.
Just wasn’t impressed as others. Food was so-so. Just didn’t feel at home here. Rolls were good. Wasn’t offered jelly or peanut butter to put on rolls. Debbie was a bit slow. I’m sorry I can’t say a lot better. I should have stuck to Mrs Yoders.
We visited this weekend. After arriving in town later than expected, we rolled into this restaurant not sure what to expect. We all settled on the buffet. Wish we wouldn’t have. It was not homemade food as one would expect with the restaurant claiming Amish dinner. It’s not. No one in our party went back for seconds and plates were being cleared from our table with food still on them. Our family isn’t one to waste food. It was disappointing.
The restaurant was very welcoming, super clean, great restrooms, and decent layout. Everyone smiled and greeted us as we walked past them. The displayed quilts were beautiful to look at too.
Our server was super nice, thoughtful and attentive. She made us feel welcomed and helped to show us around etc. She would be the only reason we would come back and order from off the menu when we come back to the area in the spring.
I was just there with my wife. I tried the buffet and she had a grilled chicken sandwich. The service was excellent. Josh was our waiter and he was Johnny on the spot. He came right to our table when we were seated and brought drinks and fresh warm delicious rolls. I never had to ask for a coffee refill, Josh kept my cup full the whole time. My wife enjoyed the large tasty grilled chicken sandwich. She didn't have to ask for mayonnaise, Josh brought it. The full salad bar was the best part of the buffet. Everything was fresh with many choices. The meat included roast beef, ham, fried chicken, roasted chicken and kielbasa and sauerkraut. There were mashed potatoes, noodles, Mac and cheese and stuffing. Corn and green beans for veggies and assorted gravies. Everything was hot and tasty and all you could eat. The desserts included chocolate and white cake. You will definitely find something you like for $18.99. The buffet was well worth the price and Josh made it a perfect experience.
Very typical of "Amish Restaurants" in the area. A large shopping area featuring crafts, baked good, condiments. The restaurant area is dominated by a salad bar and smorgasbord of hot foods. The menu is American standard entrees and lunch foods.
We were immediately seated. A server took our drinks order then our lunch order when he returned. We ordered a BLT and a Turkey Manhatten ( hot turkey sandwich, on 2 slices of bread, mashed potatoes and smothered in gravy. ) Food came quickly. The BLT was good. Lots of bacon, the menu said 7 slices. My dish was hot. Servings were large. The dinner rolls were great and even greater with the peanut spread.
Nice enough meal. A bit pricey but it was tourist pricing.
Food was great. Short 5 minute wait before being seated.
Delicious food! Lots of good menu choices. Big portions, I took home half of my meal and had it for dinner the next day. Service was quick. Our server, Debra, was excellent! Drink refills are free and I didn't even have to ask, Debra was right there with refills. Debra took care of my families special requests and remembered them with a smile! . The bathrooms are nice and clean. We all were very happy with our lunch visit here!
Great place to stop and grab a meal everything was delicious. Definitely will be back!

Behalt is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn the history of Anabaptists! There are several tours. First, is the cyclorama (of which there are only a few in the world) from Jesus Christ's resurrection to the present day, in narration and pictur
The suite is roomy and clean. The staff is excellent and friendly as well. The pool was warm and not over chemicaled to burn my eyes. The spa was large and has plenty of jets. I really like the location, close to downtown Berlin and access to side st
