Parking is secure, even though it is in the center of town, private and secure entry, private patio and spacious living are just a few of the amazing benefits of staying there. The open living/dining are is inviting and perfect for a small family gathering or just a moment of peace away from home. The main bedroom has a very comfortable bed, huge closet and OMG the bathroom is, well, lets just say, I wanted to reside there. A wonderful free standing tub and the shower is spacious with a rain shower head perfect, just perfect! Everything you could possibly need is available in this unit. So, if you need a minute to get away and relax, this is it! For us, it was a breath of fresh air in a very stressful time. The owners were available for our questions and were very helpful. Thank you Benson Guest House hosts for being the best part of our visit to Uvalde!

Such a quaint, boutique style spot. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. There is a common area between all rooms that has a coffee bar and breakfast nook. We absolutely loved it and will definitely book again. The only down side was the noise from passing cars but it’s not something we would consider a deal breaker.

Great location in the town and very convenient. Nice big room with high ceilings and good shower. The AC has a slightly mildew type smell I think which may need to be cleaned but it wasnt too bad and on Friday nights the bar next door is playing loud music till about 2 AM so its not the most peaceful. Saturday night however was fine. The beds are ok a little on the soft side. The shared kitchen space is very nice. Rooms dont get made every day or at least ours didnt when we stayed. Overall it was decent and I think we will stay here again due to the location and large room space. Its also very safe and secure.

Benson Guest House has four separate guest rooms, all of which connect to a common room where water, snacks, cereal, coffee, and wine (for $20 per bottle) is available. A refrigerator and ice maker are also in the common room. The common room in turn, connects to an outdoor patio which has a table and chairs, and is relatively sealed off from the bustle of Uvalde.| |We stayed in the front room (the door as seen in the picture). It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was well stocked, and the bathroom was spacious, with both a tub and shower. The heater/air conditioner worked well and stayed on temperature.| |The only downside is that the guest house is located in the heart of old town Uvalde on highway 83. There was substantial 18 wheeler traffic during the day but died down in the evening hours, and presented no problem when sleeping. Were I to stay there again, I'd opt for one of the rooms towards the back.| |There are very few hotels in Uvalde and this one makes a great alternative to the chain hotels, and it places you in the old town. There are many murals of the children killed in the Uvalde school shootings throughout the old town area, well worth taking the time to see.

Looked like a cozy, clean place. |This place is very near a bar, only a few steps away. | Music playing, cars racing engines and people yelling until 2:30 AM. Not a great experience! If you want a good nights sleep don’t stay here.

Has to be the cutest & coziest place to stay in Uvalde! Great amenities, modern decor & an awesome getaway to relax (in the luxury bathtub) and hide away from the city noise! Beds are super comfortable & the area is quiet, so was very easy to sleep in & catch up on rest! Highly recommend :)

conveniently located, very clean, well kept, new facilities. There are 4 separate units, all decorated in a theme. We stayed in the Vintage, #3. The bed and pillows were amazing. Must find out how they get they linens and towels to smell so good. The location is within walking distance to numerous shops and restaurants. Across the street is a town square type fountain with walking paths and seating under huge trees. Krystyn was extremely quick in her communication. The common area has Keurig coffee pods, 4 cups, bowls, and cereal all complimentary. You can purchase a bottle of wine from the wine cooler, just leave cash in the container on the honor system. Outside is a quiet and nice sitting area under a vine covered arboretum type gazebo. The neighborhood cats put on quite a show as the run, play, climb trees and the gazebo. We will definitely stay here again.

Benson house was clean, conveniently located, and had personable amenities. It is located off of a busy street so it can be a bit loud but it is easily walkable. The host was fantastic and understanding if plans unexpectedly change. Thanks for the stay!
