Good dog park, both big and small. Nice and large enough area for your pets! Behind the park are off road trails for walking. Overall, nice park with lovely scenery!
Never like it when a dog park is more dirt than grass. Means it’s dusty when dry and muddy when wet seasons.
Besides that it’s a good size dog park. Plenty of space for several dogs and people.
Great dog park! It's clean, well maintained and it's big enough for a bunch of big dogs to spaz out! I've met friendly folks and playful dogs... what more do you want?
We'll maintained. Medium size with artificial turf, gravel, dirt, water for the dogs and adequate seating for the owners. Inside Benicia Community Park. A 1.2 mile walk from Lake Herman parking lot.
Pretty much our "go to" spot . My pup loves to interact with the other dogs, and be allowed to run about off leash. Great park. Nice people
Lovely park, lots of room to walk. There's a dog park that is separated into 3 enclosures. One for all dogs one for small dogs only and another for large non social dogs. There is a hiking trail, small lake, disc golf course. Several baseball fields, a hockey rink, basketball court, volleyball nets, plenty of picnic space, tables and chairs. 2 different play structures for children and public restrooms.
This park, while a terrific idea, is geared towards big dogs only. It is split into two fenced-in sections, one for big dogs, and the other for small. The big dog side is large and inviting. It has plenty of room to run and fun activities like tunnels for the dogs. There is usually a decent amount of grass provided by the shade of the trees, and lots of seating for the owners. The dynamic on the small dog side is quite different. It is essentially a fenced in hillside with a couple of plastic chairs, no tunnels or dog runs, no shade trees, and consequently very little grass resulting in hard dirt. It's shameful that the City didn't recognize dog size when completing their original designs. What would compel them to think that small dogs wouldn't enjoy the same amenities?
Great location! Next to the watershed and beautiful trails near by. Dog areas split between small and big dogs. I love the small hill in the smaller dogs side, tires out my pal faster. Lots of trees and surrounded by nature.
Not a fancy place but legit. If you like good beer and hate pretentious posers, this place is for you. Nestled in an industrial area between a dance school, a church, and other working shops you will find some fine beer, from people who know how to m
