Stay away, now called blue lantern, nothing but a scam. They will deny everything and then send you in a continual loop of phone calls that will result in no resolution. Just contacted the commissioner of insurance in this company…The consumers will split a roughly $100 million settlement the FTC reached with Benefytt Technologies. The FTC complained that Benefytt operated "deceptive websites that targeted consumers who were searching for comprehensive health insurance plans qualified under the Affordable Care Act." Enough said, useless scum.
Just a bunch of thieves. This company has beeen pulling money out of our bank account for who knows what, since we don't do anything with them. Tried calling customer service and no one answered, and I could not leave a voicemail. Will continue pursuing this, as apparently they have been pulling money out every month.
This is a horrible place to work. They do NOT care about their employees. They recently laid off 30 people with no explanation of why and only gave a 2 week severance pay!! Displacing multiple people and not paying them more than 2 week severance is a slap in the face. They are also Blue Lantern Health now because they had to file bankruptcy which came with a name change.
This company is very difficult to work with even down to the agent level. We have one of their former agents who relocated and is trying to switch over to our company to represent our brand. Two weeks later, many many attempted emails, many attempted calls to multiple reps and even the main number, many times being passed around, and we are without resolve. Our next stop will be a complaint to the department(s) of insurance for EVERY state our new hire is appointed with. I would not, at this point, attempt a career with this group.
This place of employment lacks depth and growth. After being employed with them for a very short period of time, I realized how much they discriminate. Everything is “circumstantial” and it’s truly based on how much they favor the individual. After reaching out to the necessary people, the lack of empathy and condescending remarks lead me to understand why their retention rate is his. Scam, pyramid scheme, whatever you would like to title it. These people strictly care about you coming in and makingTHEM money for the season. Wouldn’t suggest AT ALL ESPECIALLY due to the time we are currently living in (COVID, inflation, etc) and poor work atmosphere. Complete disregards mental health but have the audacity to sell health insurance.
Unfortunately, my company leases space at the same building in a north central Florida location as Benefytt. Their staff is rude and hostile. Blocking fire exits, smoking at entrance ways , leaving trash in the parking lot, reckless driving in the parking lot, yelling in common areas. First class operation. I know where I won't be getting my Advantage Plan when I retire.
Somehow got signed up without my knowledge or approval. Would not give me any information on the "policy" I was spending almost $200 per month on. Gave me no explanation and never sent me anything in the mail about the "coverage" I supposedly have of which they could tell me nothing about! SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS!
Management is a mess, run away from this place is not worth the stress
