Always looking for new places and supporting local establishments. It's a small breakfast menu but the food did not disappoint. We had a rib eye and eggs, a filet and eggs, and my daughter had eggs and ham and ordered French toast on the side. All were delicious! Can't wait to go try their extensive lunch/dinner menu!
Stopped for lunch and I had the Mac and Cheese Grilled Cheese and it was amazing!! So much mac and cheese overflowing on my plate... I was in heaven!! I could only eat half of it. Looking forward to going back and trying more things on the menu! UPDATE: Went for taco Tuesday and they were awesome! We had both chicken and beef with soft and hard shells. The soft tacos are huge! My daughter got 2 additional tortillas to wrap them up like a burrito just so she could try and eat them LOL And for only 2 bucks, you can't beat it. We're definitely going back for those!
Stephanie, Sara and Dave are the best. Super friendly and fun. I've only come a few times for karaoke and randomly popped In. Love the tacos and food. Good mixed drinks. Long as these 3 are there I'm having a good night. Thanks guys.
The remodel is nice. Don't like the shared bathrooms. Women don't like that...nasty. Food was fresh but lacked seasoning. Be aware which doors work and don't work. 2 didn't and 2 did...one of them that was in kitchen. Owner needs to fix that. In an emergency that could be a serious issue. Bartender was very nice.
Glad we stopped in for lunch! This bar and grill was clean, great service and even family friendly. The best part was my Italian beef was better than Portillo‘s!!!! Looking forward to coming back!
Great food for sure but, shouldn’t wait 25 min for a beer. When you put a empty on the rail that means a refill where I’ve been. Watched food sit at the kitchen window for 15 min. Sorry I’d have send it back if it was served cold to me….Bartenders nice but, because she’s slammed she’s tunnel visioned and was alone on taco Tuesday so unfortunately it was a bad experience…
My wife and I finally stopped in after driving past Bender's for the last year going to other restaurants. A pleasant surprise and a year wasted! We've already visited 3 times in the last couple weeks and my wife has settled on a couple favorites (grilled cheese and pot stickers) and I've been making my way through the menu and quite happy with the burrito, birria pizza (SO good) and pot stickers. The bartenders/servers have been pleasant and accommodating and the other clientele quite friendly. I look forward to working my way through more of the menu.
For a Thursday night it was pretty busy. My friend took me there for my first time. And it won't be last time. Food was AMAZING! We had a few appetizers, she had the cowboy burger. I had the quesobirria dinner. Both absolutely phenomenal, and came out fast. This hidden gem is best thing around here. As busy as bartender was he was very attentive. Prices were very affordable for food and drinks.

Finally found the most authentic Mexican food in Lake Villa! My go to dish is the pico de gallo talapia ð The tacos are sooo tasty too! And the biscuits and gravy are excellent! The margarita on the rocks ð super tasty! Love this place! Perfect
