This is one of the few places left that was needed for us to not leave our town! Midlothian offers a lot, but definitely a specialty bubble tea place made it extra special. We ordered several different drinks and none of them disappointed us. The service was also excellent. The owner was very interested in knowing how we liked our drinks as we walked out of the store. That's the difference between providing a superior customer experience, engaging with your clients outside of the sale transaction. The cheese foam is something pretty new to me, when you are looking through the menu, there's the "cheese foam" type and the regular one. I was offered a sample and I decided not to have it. It is very rich and unsweetened, which brings a more balanced taste to overly sweet fruits and drinks. The cups of the drinks are super high quality compared to other bubble tea restaurants. We washed them and kept them Our kids loved their drinks too.

The soft opening for Ben Wong’s Tea was on July 1st, and we stopped by July 2nd. I am happy to say that this place was very good and has a great potential to grow already! A great boba tea place where you don’t have to drive into downtown Richmond, dealing with the traffic and struggle during peak hours to find parking! They have dairy alternatives such as oat and soy milk if you cannot have regular dairy. We got the Crème Brûlée boba tea and the Earl Grey boba tea, and both I would highly recommend! Especially Crème brûlée! For the mochi donuts we got the Taro (purple), funnel cake (has red drizzle) and the Black Sesame donut (pictured in display case, but tasted like the red bean paste sesame balls from the Asian store/Chinese restaurant). All 3 were great! Perfect place for friends and family to grab a treat! Great prices too compared to other boba tea cafes in downtown RVA. Got two boba teas with dairy alternative, and 4 mochi donuts for under $20. Some other boba tea shops we’ve been to in downtown RVA charge $20 for just 2 boba teas.
Don't come here if you don't want to be addicted to tea! I used to go get tea once a week but now I have to go three or four times a week. No one is making tea Ben Wong. They put fresh slices of fruit in their fruit tea and it is a game changer.
my friend and I went together and we really enjoyed the experience. We both got drinks and donuts and they were amazing. The staff there were really sweet and we got our food and drinks very quickly. overall it was a great atmosphere and a great place- we will be going again.
I've been waiting for a boba tea place to open up in Midlothian and this business is above and beyond my expectations!! The ingredients they use are fresh and delicious and they can even cater to both of my sisters' allergies. They are customizable as well such as the sweetness level. They have milk tea flavors like crème brûlée and earl gray and have interesting mochi donut offerings as well. Excited to try their slushy teas too! Plus it's cute inside :3
We tried them today at their soft opening and loved it! Easily one of the best bubble tea places in the area. We tried their lychee tea, Thai tea, black sesame donut and chocolate donut. We all loved it and will definitely be back.
Already in love! We ordered the mango pomelo sago slush and brown sugar bubble milk tea. Both were fantastic! The brown sugar milk tea has a great, prominent tea flavor and isn't sickly sweet like some places. The boba was cooked perfectly. Don't skip the cheese foam- it's a really tasty cream cheese/cheesecake topping! My boyfriend had the mango slush. I'm not usually a big fan of fruit slushes but this surprised me! Tangy from the mango/pomelo, creamy from the coconut! Very refreshing and I look forward to ordering my own next time. Mochi donuts were perfect as well. Slightly crispy and chewy texture. Not too sweet either. Excited to come back!
