Belvedere Inn - Hotel in Schenectady - 1926 Curry Rd, USA

We stayed overnight at the Belvedere Inn for a personal trip. The check-in was quick and desk receptionist very nice. The room was kind of dirty. There was a separate sitting room and bedroom. The bedroom seemed cleaner, which I was happy about. However, our bathroom needed cleaning before we could use it. Also, there was stuff splashed down the wall by the fridge & coffee maker. Frre breakfast in the morning was coffee, muffins, cereal, and bananas.

I stayed 3 nights at The Belvedere while visiting Rotterdam. I chose the Belvedere because of it's location. While you can tell it's an older hotel with older furniture and hard goods, it is VERY clean and has really nice thick and soft towels and nice pillows, sheets and duvet/cover. The HVAC unit is also newer and very clean with a thermostat that you can adjust with an actual temperature, not just a dial. The breakfast doesn't have eggs and meat. But, who really likes the fake eggs and meat offered at the chain hotels? The Belvedere had good bagels and pastries from a local Italian bakery, fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals. I would stay here again while needing to be in Rotterdam.

Great stay! Would stay again. Everything was exceptional- great rooms, clean and nicely decorated. Bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows- which I was very pleased with since usually I struggle with the pillows but these were great and got a great nights sleep. Wish I could give it 10 stars. Great place to stay- felt safe there. Thank you for the hospitality. 😊

I can't detail about the location or the rooms, because my room was given away. I fully admit, there was an issue with my card, and my security deposit could not be taken. I was given a call, told to update the information, and was told that I would receive another call within 10 minutes if something went wrong. I did not get a call 10 minutes later, and assumed everything had gone through. This was not the case; I never got a call, but I got a text message an hour and a half later informing me that my card did not go through, and my room had been given away. Belvedere, please keep your promises, and CALL your customers if you say you're going to call them. Thank you for stranding us overnight.

Staff was very rude. The hotel rooms were very run down and outdated considering the appearance of the outside you would think it would be a luxury hotel. They require a minimum stay time so don't plan on staying there for a night or two. For $139 for two people I felt like I was basically staying in a motel quality room. There is nothing luxurious about this "hotel"

Booked the Double Deluxe and it turned out to be just an ordinary double. The picture of the room on the website includes one of the lobby, so it appears to be a bigger space than it actually is. I took one step in the room then asked for a refund, but they still charged me for one night. Feel very scammed.

Clean, quiet, danish every morning on the way out. Very nice area close to all.

It is an acceptable location for a quick stay. There are many locations that are unacceptable. This is not one of those. This is okay. You can stay here with the wife and the kid.
