My wife and I rode the train for the Fall Harvest Tour. The train ride was relaxing and enjoyable. Loved looking at the steam and diesel locomotives and the cabooses and various train cars and track maintenance cars. Big thanks for the volunteers who maintain the trains and all associated with them, and provide the experience of riding the train. They were friendly and very knowledgeable. I learned quite a bit about how various aspects of trains work and the history of railroads them.
Good experience and fun train ride for our boys. Not fully restored, but functional trains and passenger car. Volunteer only staff do a good job keeping this going.
Nice little train ride on a diesel engine. The staff (all of which are passionate volunteers) were very friendly. The train doesn't go very far (~5 miles) but takes about 45 minutes round trip. On the way, there's at least 3 crossings, and at least one is a very old crossing with older hardware. The other crossings are modern, with fake bell sounds and LED lights.
Lovely experience to have with kids! The volunteers were super kind and answered the kids questions. It’s a little hot as there is no AC on the trains but the breeze is nice and it’s only about 45 minutes so it’s perfectly manageable if you wear light clothes!
We had a great time on the train. My 3 year old loved it. It's a slow train ride that takes you down a few miles then stops let's you get move into the outdoor seats if weather permits then drives back. During the ride they give you a little history on the trains and railroad. If your kid is obsessed with trains they will love it.
Had a great experience! Simple, affordable, and not over-crowded like other KC events can be. Love kids activities that you can knock out on a Saturday morning in less than an hour especially with younger kiddos. Our boys had a blast! The people who ran the train were so sweet. The train host gave lots of valuable information and some cool Belton and train history! Would recommend!
While not running the day I went, you can explore the displays and see the engines for free in the yard. Very cool to see
If you love trains this is a very cool place to go. Especially for kids. You can see the old trains up close and personal. You can even ride a train a couple miles, albeit very slowly. The staff are amazing and make you feel right at home. Make sure to call ahead so you know if the train is running that day, it doesn't run every day but during the summer it seems like we hear it most days.

Other civilians are super chill as they hangout at this location. Sometimes loud, but this is a bar so itâs meant to. Great service by Dominique, ordered a cheese burger & fries . Was not disappointed at all !
We had a great late lunch today. 8 oz sirloins for both, onion appetizer to start. Found they have online seat requests, so got seated when we got there. And only 10 minutes from the house. Took home some yeast rolls and half my steak and taters.
Great atmosphere It was the bar tenders first day Made my wife a killer Marg I had the cheese burger with tots Cooked perfect my wife had the tenders juicy & not over cooked The owner Teresa came over and welcomed us & insisted we have the wings n
We finally were up early enough to get in, had a great early lunch. They have all the menu while they are open, so you can have what you like or mix and match. I really like pork tenderloins with gravy like a dinner, not sandwich and the one here wa
It was great! 1st time going there and I was very impressed with the taste of the food. I had a grilled chicken rice bowl. Everything was very good tasting and I got a good size portion for the price. Others that I went there with ordered the philly
We've been here since November, hitting all sorts of spots we didn't have in California, and this is a favorite. Everything was great, I had a 4 piece, wifey a 3. Will be back more. Very good value and love the lemonade.
We've ate here several times. Most recently at a super busy time with some really picky customers who gave the servers a hard time and left without paying. Brenda and Melissa are great waitresses, always friendly and fast. Food is good for the price
First time going for Breakfast and not only was the food amazing but so was the service. Loved the Biscuits and gravy platter. Also their different choices of mimosa flavors to choose from more amazing as well.
