Belmont Motel - Motel in Richmond - 2301 Chamberlayne Ave, USA

THE ROOM WAS $70 AND I SAW WHAT LOOKS LIKE BED BUGS...AND A TOILET SEAT WHICH SHOULD BE REPLACED..They should give my money back at check.out...but my relative had no choice which is a whole other situation. But I intend to send the health department there!! People paying $70 should not be walking into a nasty room. And it wont allow u to move beyond questions ita nor fit for any HUMAN TO STAY

Ive lived here when I had no where else to go plus I've stayed here in order to just get away or to have faster access to the bus when I needed to be some where extra early. It's not fancy nor do you pay for fancy. Its a bed to sleep in and quiet at night. People want to pay next to nothing but expect high priced accommodation. The lady that cleans it has always been respectful to me and has always helped me out. The people that run it might not speak English all that well but if you treat them with respect they will treat you with respect. As far as neighborhood, it's next to a police station so you can easily go in there and talk to an officer if something doesn't feel right. I've never had problems with anyone and there are restaurants near by. Go in humble you get humble. Go in with attitude and you get attitude. Managing a motel or any business is not really an easy task so keep that mind when you expect something for nothing. The rooms themselves aren't the greatest but they have heat and air and cable and WiFi and a small kitchenette. You're going to have cigarette burns for a smoker friendly motel. That's to be expected.

Owner offered to sell me drugs. He offered to “sell my body” to cover rooms costs. Drives a white Audi SUV. I have seen him approach other young women as well.

The room had bugs (Roche's). There was Comcast but very few channels. The bathroom had rust in the shower. The only thing nice in the room was the TV... Never coming back to this motel. It is the worst one I have stayed in.

If you value a clean room, I would not come here. I am moving and needed a cheap place. Well it's not cheap 175 for 3 nights. This Motel should not be open. Dried vomit, toliet not cleaned. Linen looks dirty, don't use. Just a awful place.

Even though th rooms are quite small, the motel it self is quite great! I'm rating it 4/5 because they could fix some stuff, like more than one toilet roll in the bathroom or a bigger fridge or a more detailed phone. That's all for now

Went there and asked for a room, Worst place ever! Sleazy run down motel. stinking odor in the room, I saw roaches on the floor. The room looked very run down. The manager on duty was so rude and impolite to me. He even cursed at me. Very bad customer service. If u have any morals don't rent here. I would never recommend this motel to anyone. Not ever! It is in a high crime neighborhood. Dirty sleazy motel I would not recommend anyone stay here.

The staff are crazy. They knocked on my door 3 times throughout the night claiming that I had someone else in the room. They kept saying"No Visitor allowed here. We see visitor we call police". The room was dirty and the hooker in the next room was a busy girl that night. The constant door opening and slamming shut along with the moaning kept me awake. Funny how the staff left her alone but messed with me. I also found out that I am highly allergic to bed bugs thanks to this motel. My face was so swollen that I looked like Rocky after fighting Apollo Creed. They refused to refund my money even though I was comepletely blind in one eye and had to go to the emergency room.
