Belmar Beach - Public beach in Belmar - 400 Ocean Ave N, USA

It was beautiful and clean. There's what I think is called a jetty (?) that you can climb out on. Surfers surfing. Fishermen fishing. A really nice Italian restaurant on one end. We didn't have to pay to access the Beach and when we left, just when it was getting dark, groups of people were just getting there and setting themselves up. Each group with their own set of tunes playing. I was also surprised at how the water was warm enough to have a pleasant swim in 80 degrees weather (which is a cold day at the beach in my book). I absolutely loved it.

Love this beach, it’s one of our to go beaches in the summer and we have introduced this beach to many of our friends and families! Very clean and safe, police and lifeguard are on duty, just come, follow the rules and pay the $10 fees for each adult and enjoy the day! Kids are free. They have playgrounds for kids as well! I’m sure your kids will be tired out after spending the day here!

This beach is so clean and beautiful, it's a hidden gem inside New Jersey state. I highly recommend anyone go and have a blast. Great food, ice cream, and you'll most definitely have a blast. Parking is available right in front of the board walk for 6 hours I paid 12.95 on the park pay app well worth it. The beach is $10 all day. Not to crowded and plenty of room to sit on the sand. We even caught a rainbow over the ocean after a few raindrops. We will be back again.

Beautiful beach and long walk-away. The place was clean with quite a lot of open space. Street parking is available and cost about $2.5 per hour. There are wash and bathroom available on site. You would need to buy a beach badges to enter.L which costs about $10 for adults and kids under 13 are free.

Very nice sand. Wide open beach with loads of parking for a late fall visit. Mild weather brought out surfers, and the drawbridge was busy alternating vehicle and marine traffic.

The 1.3-mile Belmar Boardwalk is more of a party atmosphere, while the section through Ocean Grove is lined with benches, street lamps, and potted flowers The boardwalk and beach area is located on Ocean Avenue and runs from First to Twentieth Avenues, offers many interesting attractions, shops, and eateries along the boardwalk, as well as fun along the extensive stretch of beach. The Boardwalk has beautiful sunset, and it would be great to witness that. The beach and atmosphere work as additives to the situation. It is a perfect place for a long romantic walk Smoking is prohibited on the entire beach and boardwalk at all times. dogs/bike/skating is also not allowed.

I like this Beach. Maybe it is crowded and the waves are a little more heavy but it is good to spend time in summers.
