My band and I were in town for a gig and wanted some good Georgia home cooking.. Belly's did not disappoint! Huge portions, well seasoned.. probably terrible for our diets but fun for our taste buds! :)

This was my first time ordering and will not be my last.
I ordered fried green tomatoes, a sidw order of greens, fried and grilled shrimp 🍤. No heavy batter on the shrimp either 😳

The food was great, the establishment is in a urban area but I had no worries, you do have people hanging outside but they just be chilling out talking to each other and waiting on their orders to come up,nobody bothers you or even pays you attention so just relax and go in there and get a taste of some of the best food that Augusta has to offer, very friendly staff, so much to choose from, I will definitely be back, this will probably be my main spot to eat,
First impression of this place was not the best. I almost turned around. They have a lot of men hanging around outside. Food was ok, the lady taking the orders was very nice. The prices I think are fair for the portion sizes. After receiving my order I had men outside asking to help me to my car. I politely said no thank you and they did not listen. I had to keep saying it multiple times to 2 of them. I hope they change locations it has great potential. Be prepared to wait a while.
Amazing smothered pork chop w/ collard greens & green beans. Phenomenal food. The rice & gravy was tasty and not salty!
