I wish I read the reviews before I booked on Expedia, because you want to avoid this place at all costs! I've never left a motel, and I can handle small things missed but this rooms was absolutely disgusting.||I let the front desk know about 30 minutes after checking in, he asked if I'd like to change rooms but I honestly couldn't see another room being better so I declined. He told me to contact expedia, so I was in the room gathering my two kids and stuff, while on the chat with Expedia. The front desk guy refused the refund to Expedia, he gave Expedia the owner/managers email and he only gave a 50% discount (i had two nights booked) because I was in the room 2 hours and they couldn't rent it. However, I was in the room for 1 hour maybe dealing with Expedia and at the front desk for an hour.||There was hair, dirt, food, dust, and stuff I have no idea what it even was all over the floors. There was a booze can under the bed, the sheets were stained, hell maybe not even cleaned. The garbage can was disgusting, like I've never seen a motel room have something like this ever. The drawer was absolutely gross. My almost 5 year old child was itchy and grossed out to the point she was begging to leave.||The owner is not fair, expedia sent pictures of the room and he had nothing to say and came up with any excuse to keep my money. I would not recommend, literally so gross! Poor management and just out to scam people who bring this to their attention.
I booked online and when I checked in, the Asian guy wanted to charge my an extra $100 for a deposit. Why isn't this stated online, I don't know. I told him I only had enough money on the card I booked the room for. He said, "Do you have any cash." No. I read another review stated they never gave them their deposit back, so I know I wasn't going to give him any cash. He proceeded to take the deposit off of the card I told him it wasn't enough money on. I said it was only $10 on the card, so he tried to take the $10 off. Long story short, he kept my drivers license because I didn't have enough for the security deposit. Is that legal, I have no idea. At the end of him processing my room, he answered the phone and started on another reservation. I didn't want to wait so I walked to the nearest store, which is not close. I came back thirty minutes later and the front office door was closed. I waited in the lobby for another ten minutes and called the office. He heard the phone ring and came out. I hung up. This whole process took over an hour. I went to the front desk to check out and his office was open. I am almost six feet tall and he pretended not to see me standing there. The maintenance man came in and asked if he see me standing there. I said, "I know he see me standing here." I finally came out of his office and asked if I was checking out. I said, "Yes." Then a man came in from behind me and did you know this idiot asked the guy from behind, "How can I help you." The guy from behind me said," Oh no, finish with her, I can wait." He checked the room for damage, came me my drivers license back and I left.......AND WILL NOT BE BACK.
Stayed two nights, the first night didn't work out so well, the walls are paper thin and the girls where running a brothel guys running in and out, I thought the second night was going to be the same, no, it was a guy who was hard of hearing and blasted the TV. I give it a C+ the room was 👌.
We had a bad experience last night in this motel. Outside looks okey , in good shape . But as soon as you enter you will see the poor condition of the place. We stayed in the room 302 but when we entered we noticed that the room was not clean, the toilet was used , a lot of hair , dust , pee etc … Then we opened the bed and the sheets were used . Also dust everywhere, chairs , floor , table , the microwave etc … basically a not cleaned room that have been used for someone. We decided to ask for a change of room , he guy changed us to the room 310 , the room was in a similar condition, so we figured out that the standard of “cleaning” there was really low… We had with us our camping gear, so we stayed the night there using our sheets and blankets. The breakfast also is pretty poor , and least they had the waffle maker. The place have a 100 usd of deposit that you have to pay during the check in process, and also they have weekly and monthly people living there. We paid almost 200 usd for one night, so also pricy for the overall experience.
I needed to check in early and while it did cost me a little bit more they gave me the best room they had, I never even had to ask! Room was really clean, it was super quiet and I slept good. One of the things I really liked about the bellis is they don't outlaw or judge you for vaping. I don't do continental breakfast so I can't comment on that. I would definitely return.
Never rent a room from here unless you want the owner to keep deposit . nothing was stolen nothing was broken. very unclean room when we checked in my grandkids ages 8 and 10 a long with my son almost got attacked from crazy man in breakfast room and what did the owner do he ran and hide didn't even help my family. owner rents to a bunch of DRUG ADDICTS.
The Only reason I give a Four star for service, is the house keeping are honest hard working people! The only 2 that I had seen employed, had to clean a three-story building 40-50 rooms by themselves. The Owner/Manager has NO comprehension of customer service or hospitality. After I was booked for a month stay with notice of having a cat "an animal" and money was taken, I stayed my first night. The next day I was seen with my "animal" and this person who was not a manager said to me "we don't take cats.." I asked him if he was a manager "he said no, but we don't take cats.." so I ask this person "do all of the employees here address people staying here without looking them up?" Just the same response "we don't take cats.." shortly after this conversation a new note on the front counter said No Cats. After a Month stay... in inhospitable and total disregard of condition of the building overall what would be general maintenance and what amenities my money paid for, "a permanently closed down spa" "only one ice machine and it's on the third floor" "hot food.. that can be called a breakfast, up for debate" , Roaches, and mold under furniture and under ac-unit on the walls, end tables and under anything too big to move, ie: dresser and bed. The room was cleaner just from my stay after I disinfected everything I had to touch. Again this isn't an outing of the workers that are overworked. Just penny pinching managers and owners who think that cutting corners doesn't affect the customers. Eager to take your money but as soon as they can, eager to Short change you. Even in the amenities you don't get and claim that their rooms are worth top dollar. Don't get me wrong if you need a place to stay and you don't mind bugs or unprofessional attitudes, no spa, homeless people looking in your cars at all hours of the day.. this is totally an okay place to spend your money. Best of luck.
Positive: Absolutely nothing. I didn?t even feel safe getting out of my car to check in and i grew up in this area. Negative: Everything. I was checked in for about 10 minutes before I left and went to another hotel.
Stayed at the Heliotrope for 2 days from the Midwest for a work-trip and loved this cute renovated boutique motel. It is situated right in the center of 3 great neighborhoodâs to explore with a great brewery and food trucks down the street. The roo
One of the better hotels to which Iâve been. Even better than some of the more expensive hotels in downtown Vancouver at which Iâve stayed. There is a complimentary drink and snack for all guests. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our roo
Our room had many space, air, light, itâs been very quite, with late check-out for all guests by noon. Itâs been extremely comfortable for this price, we usually stay at more expensive hotels, but weâve read the reviews and decided to stay at H
