Bellflower BMX - BMX track in Bellflower - 9030 Somerset Blvd, USA

What a great place for kids and adults alike... I'm guessing the youngest rider was 3 or 4 and the oldest was 50+... I took my 9yo son here for his first ever BMX session, we went on a Monday and he took the early class then stayed and did the practice session that followed. All in he rode for almost 2 hrs.. He now says he wants to do BMX.. ahhh helmet, gloves, jersey, pants, goggles - ooh then the bike.. ooh what fun.. maybe I'll get into it too..... Lots of rain and the track is holding up pretty well... Practice today, and racing Friday.. hoping the rain stays away... Wow, its March and it's absolutely beautiful out here at the track

First time to the track. The family had a blast. Track was in great shape, and everyone we talked to was super friendly. They also have canopies and real restrooms...which is a bonus with younger kids. Will make the trek back up from Temecula again

A friend showed me this place. Well organized from Toddlers to old Men and Women. Awesome fun. Groomed track. Fun crowd. Versatile location. Fun battle scenes for action.

I’m a complete BMX novice, so my benchmark is coming from that perspective. Bellflower BMX is a really nice facility - well maintained track, knowledgeable staff, and the setting is really nice for an evening workout. I only go for practice on Wednesdays, the energy is mellow, a lot of space to practice different aspects of the course. I really appreciate that they operate the gate during practice since that’s one of the areas I need to work on. I definitely recommend visiting their website for information about gear and their schedule, and give them a call if you have any additional questions - they were helpful when I was getting started.

My nephew races here often. I love this place! Always looking out for one another. Places like this help to keep kids from creating their own entertainment ( we all know what that means), by giving them a sport to commit to and a place to compete. I hope that communities will open their eyes one day to recognize that kids in "extreme sports" are no more deviant than their own kids that compete in school sports. Its not the sport that makes a kid go down a dangerous path, but, keeping kids busy doing something that they enjoy is a start.
