Candy Cane express train was adorable this year! Our first experience and I see why it sells out so fast each year! WAY more characters than we ever expected. For the price per ticket, it is way beyond worth it!!!!! This will be an annual tradition with our crew! Tip: arrive about 30 minutes before so you don't have to rush to find nearby parking and have some time to walk from your parking spot before the train departs. There is a parking lot right across from Bonfattos and My Cafe Buzz and there is also non metered nearby street parking. Hit up the coffee shop (My Cafe Buzz) or Bonfattos (they have the BEST lattes!) across the street on your way in or way out for something warm and toasty!

Thank you all for making the return journey of Bellefonte 9167 such a fun experience. Every staff member was friendly and helpful -- and passionate about the train. Events -- from promotion to the final "all aboard" -- was well communicated. I even purchased a hat for my friend who came aboard with me with his wife. I strongly encourage you to sell hats and merchandise (like snacks as a fundraiser). I also wish there was someone narrating the journey talking about the train, how folks traveled via train as well as the sights outside the window -- making it a great educational tour. Luckily for me Jim Baldwin and his wife Nancy were born and raised here and were excellent tour guides. I also think folks would pay good money to have a "dinner ride" with chamber music or a champagne brunch ride for New Years as fundraisers. As a PR professor at Penn State, I give you an "A-" for creating a well organized experience and coordinating with the rail system to use the tracks. I think people aren't aware how much goes into planning this excursion. Bravo to all. I can't wait until I can take the train all the way to Curtin Village or even Tyrone! I would love to volunteer.

Really pretty park, includes a footbridge over an idyllic creek, with a man-made water fall to boot. Public bathrooms were working and in order in September 2023. Parking is ample and there are shops and eateries nearby. A very pleasant stop for lunch.

Excellent. The train ride was historic, well planned, picturesque, and timely. Neat little town, with an awesome scenery. I fully recommend and hope they plan more trips. It's an awesome little engine car thing and they even let you see what they are doing

Most people here are leaving reviews for the park, Talleyrand Park, but this is for the actual Bellefonte Historical Railroad Society, which is in the old train depot within the park. Great little place to stop in for local history and merchandise, particularly postcards which I am quite fond of. They are very helpful and are always happy to assist you with any questions, recommendations, or anything else you may need while you visit Bellefonte. Highly recommend, cheers.

Small waterfalls, swinging bridges, crystal clear water with large Carps. Great place to walk and relax. We visit this park and were not disappointed. Nice place to have a picnic, feed the ducks and also to relax.

Nice little park with an old Rail station. It seem to be offices and nothing inside is geard to tourists or history or preservation. Although they are restoring some very old rail cars. Wish them luck.
