Rooms were very clean however you can tell this was a quick flip hotel. Meaning hotel was purchased by new owner and they wanted to renovate ASAP. Pros: very clean, service, staff helpful and friendly. Cons: directions needed for room once you get off on the fourth floor, ice machine first floor only, light color paint with pink hue did not go well with furniture and bedding. Indoor pool very cold for me to enjoy however my son loved it. Good experience overall and it got the job done. Great location from Liberty University.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Liberty University. It is conveniently located near Liberty University. The staff are warm and welcoming. During Liberty graduation , they had a balloon decorator create a lovely backdrop for our photos as we left for our ceremonies. When we returned in the evening, we were greeted with delicious, warm cookies at the check-in desk! This is a boutique hotel with a very caring ethos. The rooms are large and very clean. The morning breakfasts are tasty and very expansive. Requests ( extra towels) are cheerfully honored. The facilities are lovely and the indoor pool looks inviting.

This newly renovated hotel was so clean, cheery, and. welcoming . The room was large, had iron and board, fridge, microwave and coffee maker, plus lots of USB ports . There are 2 sinks in the room, one in toilet and shower room, the other outside. Bed was comfortable, nice big television. |However, there was only one mirror(in the bathroom ).|The pool looked so inviting. |The breakfast was more than expected. The chef obviously takes pride in his food and presentation. That morning, he made a special French toast. I liked that there was lots of fruit.

It’s fine. Definitely not the boutique hotel they tried to make it…more like “clean economy”. Stay here with low expectations. Pros: -The location of this hotel is great- very close to Liberty University and lots of shopping. -The entry/lobby is well decorated and inviting. Definitely a boutique look. -Staff are friendly and helpful. -Breakfast was pretty good in comparison to other hotels serving free breakfast. The fresh fruit selection was impressive. Everything was kept filled and hot. - Rooms were overall clean. -Weirdly, the elevators were shockingly fast and quiet. -The price was very affordable. Cons: The room! Let’s just say when you enter the room you will wonder if you are even in the same hotel as the lobby you just left. It gives off that “first apartment on your own” vibe. The first thing I noticed was the industrial fluorescent light fixture set in the ceiling. It gave off the ambience of a classroom or a science lab of some sort. The floor was all tile, and while that is easier to keep clean, there is no noise barrier from the room to the hall or vice-versa. The gap under the door to the hallway is quite large, also. The furniture: It looked like a combo of odds and ends from a pallet sale mixed with furniture salvaged from the previous hotel. Styles and finishes were random and didn’t match at all. The bed: The mattress was hard, and the headboard was velvet (totally unsanitary). There was the most ridiculous metal skirting around the beds that sat flush with the box spring. Every time you got in or out of bed, it sounded like a gong went off, because you inevitably kicked it or even tapped it each time you got in or out of bed. That’s really fun if you need to get up to go to bathroom while everyone is sleeping. The decor: The walls are stark and empty. There is not one piece of artwork to be found. There is no full length, or even just a wall mirror in the room anywhere (besides the bathroom). The light fixtures were as random as the furniture. Between the fluorescent ceiling light, the Target dorm room modern styled desk lamp and a clear, acrylic boutique-look lamp, nothing matched at all. The different clashing hues of blue used in different places in the room will most likely bother anyone who is not color blind. The TV- was probably from the early 2000s. Desperately needs updated. It did work, though, so that’s a positive. The bathroom: It was very small. The mirror is also small- like single person small. and it hangs over the sink basically in front of the toilet (which sits so close to the sink, you can almost wash your hands while sitting on the toilet). There is no way more than one person can get ready/do hair/put on makeup unless you brought a separate mirror with you. They need to add another mirror above the desk for functionality when more than one person is staying in the room.

The entry to the hotel was inviting. The elevators where noisy. The rooms were my least favorite. TVs are small and appear old. The headboard…to me were not hotel friendly. Having so much traffic in and out with the tufted and velvety material is a great place for bed bugs to hide out and just seem unsanitary as sitting up propped on a pillow how many other heads, bodies and […] have been on that “homestyle” headboard. Can’t wipe that down. My husband didnt like the lack of carpet, however I did as I am not walking barefoot on a public floor anyway. And at least with the brighter flooring its not “hiding dirt etc”. Bathroom was small. The chair also gross and to me the material is not hotel friendly. The room overall almost gave creepy vibes. Breakfast was decent the next morning was adequate. Can’t complain on a decent inclusive meal with coffee and juice.

The entrance looks nothing like the inside. Needing outside appeal, this hotel has the ability to be beautiful both inside and in. ||Upon entering....attractive. The paint on the walls is attractive in its mint green and white, quite lovely. The front desk staff were all pleasant and professional. We were given room #501. The walk there was filled with a beautiful ambiance. ||The room was clean and attractive. The fixtures are attractively dark. The bed slept well. Great lighting. Outside window view was the roof only, not attractive.||Breakfast was included with the stay. They had a chef making omelets, and the guest did self prepared Waffles. Tea and coffee options were available. Oj and water were the cold option.||There is an indoor pool that has attractive seating. The pool area closed at 10 pm.||Lovely stay that is boarding 4 star amenities.

My family and I stayed at the Bella Vista for the first time and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. It was a long drive from Florida and we were so welcomed by Linda when we got there. It was like being greeted by family and good friends. She was so friendly and attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. ||The hotel room and amenities were immaculate. There was jazz playing softly as we approached the front doors walking on the cobblestone drive. I was very impressed with the size of the room and how clean it was. The indoor pool was very clean and well maintained but was a little cold, so we decided to get some exercise on the treadmills for a while. The next morning we had a great breakfast and a kind gentleman made me an omelet while having some good conversation. ||The Bella Vista truly had more of a “resort” feel than a hotel. It’s somewhere I didn’t want to leave when it was time to go. We saw Linda the night before we left as we were walking through the lobby and talked for a while. She made us promise to call the next day when we got back to Florida to let her know we made it back safe (and we did). As great as the facilities and room were, the entire staff (and certainly Linda!) were truly the stars of the trip for us. We will DEFINITELY be back to the Bella Vista every time we stay in Lynchburg!

Positive: The lobby is gorgeous! Our room was simple but functional and pretty. Breakfasts were pretty good (eggs, sausage or bacon, biscuits & gravy, waffle maker, pastries, muffins). Negative: More staff needed to keep breakfast running smoothly. Negative: ""
