We were on a Twilight trip so we had to go here of course! The bread was so tasty and warm. The bruschetta was great and garlicky. The mushroom ravioli was super good. It has some sort of peppery white sauce with it. The shrimp scampi was way to spicy and was served with a ton of angel hair pasta. The fettuccine was ok, not over the top. The special was salmon, a bit dry and not much flavor. It is a small place but a cute atmosphere. Service is a bit slow, only two of them and they make their own cocktails. Overall, it was a good dinner priced reasonably.
Nice little restaurant to stop and eat at while traveling through the area, but just beware it is a little on the slender side. I was seated right away and the waitress was so welcoming and friendly! She checked in on me often; excellent service! The fettuccine alfredo with chicken was good, but not exceptional. Some of the noodles tasted old and chewy like they had been sitting in a warmer for too long. The alfredo sauce was delicious!! They also gave plenty of sauce with the noodles (they weren't skimpy like some restaurants). My only complaint was the portion size of grilled chicken. My plate came with chicken barely the size of a regular thigh piece. This was disappointing considering it was an extra $8 (not $7 like the menu said). They also have plenty of wine options for those who like that.
Have been here a couple times in the past. The look of the restaurant is good. The food is good. The staff is good. I had chicken Marsala on this visit. I got to say that I have had better. Not that it wasn’t good but it wasn’t very Marsala. Now don’t get me wrong, I will be going back. I just won’t be ordering that again.
As OG Twilight fans, my friends and I felt it was a must to go to Bella Italia while in Port Angeles! The bruschetta was super yummy, as was the Mushroom Ravioli. The Prosecco on tap was delicious as well! The only downsides were that the wait was somewhat long (they seemed understaffed and it was a Friday night so it happens!) and that, it being a small space, it was somewhat crowded and we were very close to the table next to us, leading to conversation being slightly awkward even while speaking at a normal volume!
Overall we had a great experience- the staff members were kind and personable, even if overwhelmed, and the food was delicious! I will definitely dine there again when I visit Port Angeles next!
Food is fairly priced. I had high expectations for spaghetti from an real Italian restaurant. Meatballs were very flavorful and appeared hand made. The red sauce was very mild.
Staff was great. Very good service by all.
the service was good, the food tasted alright. the fettuccine and spaghetti were worth the price. we did get the food very quick but i couldn’t eat much of the fettuccine because it was very very heavy and kinda made me feel sick, it did taste good, kinda needed more flavor. some bites were really bland and others had a lot of cheese so it probably just needs to be incorporated into the sauce more. the meatballs in the spaghetti were good, the marinara sauce was underwhelming, needs garlic or something. but i went for the twilight experience so if you’re going for that, i’d say it’s worth it. and not to be too picky but i wish the music was louder, all i could hear was the waitstaff talking lol
Got drugged here because of its connection to the twilight movies by my wife. The food was good thankfully and you could taste the freshness of everything. The waiter was very nice but I felt bad for him since he was responsible for all seven tables while we were there.
