I had a tour with Martin who was the consummate professional. He was very knowledgeable and was able to give me a tour of the available apartments that met my requirements. He provided my with all the information needed to initiate the application process whenever I am ready. Love the location and I was really impressed with apartments. Only the elevators seemed a little worn (scratches) but that is a minor issue that does not detract much from the overall property.
I've been a resident here for 2 years via what I believed was a corporate rental arrangement. I am a businesswoman with one child. Beware of Major Flooding, I have experienced flooding in my unit on December Christmas Eve 2022 as well as September 2023. The cleanup process typically takes about 2 or 3 months. It is extremely horrible dealing with multiple contractors coming in and out of your unit, City inspectors, community maintenance as well as the corporate management. They even stopped by as late as 10:00 p.m. 11:00 p.m. at night. And as early as 9:00 a.m. in the morning they give your key to the contractors that will unlock your door and leave it open as well as come in and get comfortable enough to use your microwave. They'll cut your walls pull up the borders pull up the floor and carpet and leave very loud fans that may blow in your unit for up to a week. I've witnessed a lot of very unhappy people that have lost their homes or forced to stay there during the cleanup process. My story is a little bit different though because I'm not the leaseholder. I was advised on multiple occasions that they could not deal with me directly anymore because I'm not on the lease. I was left with soggy flooring that I had to tend to using bleach to control the mold for about 3 weeks. Also they bamboozled the leaseholder into believing that he was going to get a unit transfer due to the inconveniences. but instead they used reverse psychology to terminate his lease for subleasing after they took him on the tour of the you new unit they stuck a letter on the door stating vacate within 3 weeks. The leasing office staff is very familiar with me because I have been living here for two years and I typically carry a smile and a wave as they have been very polite and friendly to me during my stay. Martin is definitely a star player on the team, but when this matter arose in the urgency he did lead me to believe that if I applied for the unit to have as my own that he would be in position to help me. I don't want to blame Martin at all because I do believe that his intentions was pure and his hands are tied but after him presenting my story to the corporate office they utilize my rental history of approx $60k invested against the leaseholder and did not help me get my own place nor did they give the leaseholder the proper transfer. I've been utilizing the place as of workspace as well as I'm a mother of a child and they have done nothing to assist me. I do understand written policies in rules but I do also know when dealing with the corporate office that is in business to help uplift the community and help people there isn't a cookie cutter approach. This place really doesn't value their tenants there has been a lot of issues in regards to elevators not working properly, security doors and Gates not working properly they even took over 6 months to replace the Giovanni light fixtures and fan light bulbs throughout the units. They really don't come across as they care about the people is strictly all financial gain. I'm not going to say the place is 100% horrible because there are a lot of amenities as well as the location is prime so at the end of the day you can't win them all. But be mindful of the conditions and ethics.
Went in to do a personal tour on Friday January 26, 2024 and this Mexican lady long hair was very unhelpful. Immediately when I walked in she was asking unnecessary questions and how she didn’t know. Why ask or greet a potential tenant and you don’t have a clue. Another gentleman was about to assist another male customer and he intercepted this woman and told her she can take a picture of the app and sign up for the tour. The code o scanned on the door did not work properly and I showed this same unhelpful woman and she just said IDK and I stayed in the office until I could figure it out. Another woman (Mexican decent) was to the right office and she came out to finally ask and she didn’t know. I’m showing them how the code it provided me is not opening the key thing yet they both stood there unhelpful. I said this is a sign I’m not suppose to be here if I am having issues with you all being helpful I know this is not where I need to live. I walked off. Can’t believe you have people this unhelpful to potential customers. As I walked away the one that was I the office to the right said I’m trying to help you. I laughed and walked off. Terrible customer service. All they could say is they don’t know. Well find out. I went to 4 other places and they all treated me with respect, concern, and very helpful.
Update 8.20.23 Few months in and I m already planning on moving out. Elevator never works, Mail box been broken for 3 months and no fix, pool constantly closed down. Every time you go to leasing office the answer is always “I m sorry” “we doing the best we can” Oh well, friendly advice to everybody: do not move here. Great area to live, close to everything and staffs are nice. However, you cannot trust the delivery persons for this building. 5 out of 10 times my Amazon package deliveries are either late or just flat out lost. My packages will say delivered in the app but I will not get any email or text messages saying it is put in the parcels until 2 or 3 days later, if at all. Really tired of dealing with customer service and ask for refund every time. I am trying to just go to nearby target to get all my groceries and day to day needs. Sucks that it has to be this way. Update 6.21.23: People are getting locked up in the elevator lobby for three straight days in a row, reported to management and they did nothing. Not even a sign on the door. I been rescuing those locked up everyday when I drive in. They are lucky no one is suing them for unlawful imprisonment. Mail box broken into for the entire building, no timeline when this will get fixed and I was told I need to drive to USPS to get my mails for the foreseeable future. I don’t know who are leaving these 5 star reviews, no one I talked to in the building is happy. Gave the building 3 stars last time, 1 star now just for the location. Update 7/14: The mailbox is still broken, every time I ask the management at the leasing office when will they get fixed, the answer is “we don’t know”, now everybody needs to take time off their work to go to a postal office 2 miles away to get their mails, and often oh wait in line for more than half an hour. This management doesn’t care about their residents. Update 12.17.23 After half a year here, most of problems have been fixed and I don’t have a complain right now. Mailbox has finally been fixed. It really did not have to be this hard.
We’ve lived in this complex for almost two years and have loved it. The area is wonderful, the building itself is clean and upgraded, and the staff are kind and professional. If we ever have even a minor maintenance issue, they’re quick to resolve it. We also want to give a shout-out to Martin, who has been the easiest person to work with. He is excellent at his job and always looks out for his residents!
Martin made my move-in very smooth. I had to move up my date due to my out-of-country trip going badly and he was quick to assist me. So far I am loving my apartment.
Andre, the maintenance guy is awesome. I put in a maintenance request in the morning & he stopped by in the afternoon, same day. Coming from a place that took months (if the issue ever even got fixed), to this.. love it! Community as whole.. I’ve been here for almost 3 months so far, and I really like it. Move in was smooth. Any time I call the leasing office, they answer & help with whatever issue I’m calling about. Even though it’s basically right across from Perimeter Mall, it’s still quiet and not much, if any, b.s. is occurring. Hopefully this review is still the same whenever I move out in the future.
My experience with this apartment complex has been terrible. We actually moved out early and paid double rent just to get out of here. upon move-in, our apartment was clearly dirty and smelled terrible (like old food/curry/stale Indian restaurant ). The leasing office didn’t believe us until we showed them a video of wiping the counters with a paper towel and the paper towel being yellow and brown. they tried to say They had already cleaned it twice and were confused why we thought it was still dirty. They “cleaned it” once more and it was still dirty and smelly so we were told there was nothing they could do because we had already moved in and the unit would need to be empty for the next option of getting the smell out. However, we were going away for two weeks, and the apartment was going to be vacant so we allowed them to clean and put an ozone treatment ( for the smell) while we were away. We came back two weeks later and ozone machine was still in the unit running AFTER we confirmed 2+ times the date we were returning. We were also told they did a walk through to make sure it was clean which clearly didn’t happen because the machine was still there. (We were told that we could not be in the apartment with it running due to health concerns). We had to get a hotel that night. the next day when we returned, the apartment STILL smelled terrible . It wasn’t until we brought the manager into the apartment that they actually took their machine back and then offered to let us move into a new smaller apartment (because they could not deny the smell). The new apartment was a bit cleaner. They only paid for our hotel and a portion of the moving cost from one apartment to the next, when we were told they would pay for all of the cost . Now that we have moved out and our lease is up, they are asking for our deposit on the second apartment, which was never paid by me because the deposit on the first apartment was never returned. I’ve had poor experiences with the leasing agents not responding to emails and not helping out with our complaints. Would advise to choose a different apartment in this area. Side note/ this should not be the case with such an expensive apartment complex Also mailboxes were broken in to, elevators always gross and broken
