Bell Buckhead West Apartments - Apartment rental agency in Atlanta - 3201 Downwood Cir NW, USA

I scheduled a tour and arrived on time. I was welcomed by Whittnay who was very pleasant and professional. She provided me with a tour of the facility (club room, rooftop lounge, multiple apartments, parking) and was able to answer all my questions. She also patiently reviewed the online application process and required documents. Apartment floors and kitchens are especially appealing. Overall, an attractive property.

My partner and I moved to Atlanta during covid and literally only had one day in town to select and sign a lease. We stopped by Bell Buckhead West with NO appointment. We visited other apartments prior and didn't have a great experience so we were hesitant. Luckily, Cheryl was there to greet us and agreed to not only show us around but stopped eat her lunch to do so! She showed us multiple apartments with an upbeat attitude and was extremely knowledgeable. We felt great following our visit but wanted to do our due diligence and continue to look around the city. We honestly didn't see anything else that compared so we ultimately decided to lease here. Full transparency we did read some not so great reviews and were extremely nervous (we were moving from out of state and had never visited Atlanta). We communicated with the team via email and calls for the next week as we packed our home out of state. Again, Cheryl eased our worries, let us know about the neighborhood, and made the process so easy that we signed. I can say so much more but ultimately - between Cheryl and Chaze we have had the best experience at this property. They literally remember everyone's name (which is crazy - so many people live here lol) AND they are ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS nice to you, always friendly, and extremely helpful. I should also mention that it is all the staff (maintenance and housekeepers are great too). I definitely recommend this property to everyone - it's beautiful, pet friendly, and close to everything (busy metropolitan and nice hikes are 10 minutes away).

Moved about a month ago. The Surrounding area is very nice and has everything you need only 2 mins away. Apartments are nicely renovated and affordable. staff is very kind and helpful. Maintenance team is amazing as well. nothing bad to say so far.

Update 11/20/2022: Unfortunately, we are not renewing our lease. While the staff is kind, they need improvement in escalating serious community hazards, such as enforcing the 'Leash Law' per the governing city of Atlanta. My dog has been attacked twice and nothing more than an 'email reminder' for all residents to bring a leash for dogs, has been provided by management. Both of my dogs attacks were due to other dogs not being on leashes; while mine was on leash, attacked for no plausible reason. Owners of these animals are negligent and face no reprimand for the extensive damage both physically on my dog and myself psychologically. Bell Buckhead West prides themselves in being a "pet friendly community" I did not realize their definition of pet friendly allows for animals to be mauled on the face, eye, neck and scruff. According to a reputable source this property has held this stigma for quite some time, unfortunately when we found this out, we were already 2 months into our lease. We will not make the mistake of living at this property or other Bell properties again. . . . Would 100% recommend this community to my friends and family. Not only is this complex safe, by being tucked away in a neighborhood setting. You also have all of the modern luxuries that you would want in an apartment complex. Rent is reasonable for the amenities given and location- spacious kitchen with beautiful oversized island, spacious bathrooms and ample storage. Oh, also the industrial-sized loading dock made moving in a breeze (less than 4 hours to move)! Also, a huge plus is the staff. My experience with Symonne , Angela, and Chaze has been friendly, helpful, welcoming and replies are prompt. Symonne especially; we moved into Bell Buckhead West without truly touring the property. Symonne eased all of our worries and provided service excellence. Angela, it is my understanding, is the new property manager. During one of our visits before move-in, Angela dropped everything she was doing to give us an 'official' tour of the property and was super sweet and conversational (also knew the property extremely well) not 1 question went unanswered. Future residents with fur-babies, this complex is one of the most pet-accommodating places with a walking trail around the buildings, a bark park, and multiple pet waste stations (also sidewalks beyond the property lines- everywhere) Areas I would like to see improvement on the property. More lighting around the dog trails surrounding the perimeter of the building - there is some lighting already. Naturally, any parking garage can have its issues with gates not closing properly, Bell Buckhead is no exception to this (although repairs are speedy). To ease any safety concerns-residents must scan their fab twice; once to get into the elevator lobby and once more to enter into a building.

My partner and I moved in at the end of July and we love it! Whittnay made the process of touring units and moving in so seamless! She was great at accommodating our schedule and made sure we had everything we needed to move in. She always responded quickly to our emails. The apartment is also beautiful and the maintenence team is amazing. We had a few minor issues with the shower and fridge and they came the same day to fix everything for us! Couldn’t ask for more!

We absolutely love it here! The community is great, quite, relaxing and the people are friendly. The leasing staff is also great! Our leasing consultant Whittnay has been wonderful to work with! She made everything a breeze and has been on top of things even after we moved in!
