Where do I start? Wanted to do something special and memorable for my 70th.||Beggars Barn was just perfect. 20 of us from (70 down to 5) enjoyed a luxurious and activity packed long weekend here. Extremely comfy bedrooms, a large but very snug living room - radiating warmth even before we lit the log burner. The huge kitchen was perfect for us. After everyone had finished swimming, hot-tubbing, table-tennising, trampoline-ing etc we would gather in the kitchen for family meals around a huge table. The Annex was fabulous for partying. Glitterballs, strobe lighting and a great sound system. Those of us still standing at the very end of day snuggled up in the wonderful Nordic Hut, which warmed us up with a glowing charcoal fire. Beggars Barn provided something for everybody. The care and attention from Site Manager Tom and Owner Camilla was superb. A wonderful weekend in a fabulous house in a gorgeous setting. Who could ask for more.
Wonderful Bed & Breakfast, homeowner was gracious and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone wanting a taste of North Carolina horse culture.

Great place to eat. Went here on a date with my wife and we had a blast. Waitress is personable and even a bit cheeky, food is excellent, atmosphere is quaint and romantic. Just a great spot.
Great place for a tasty and enjoyable lunch. The half a sandwich is just the right size. The food is served piping hot and very flavorful. If you get chip they are very crispy and packed with flavor, for a brand I have never seen. Setting is limited
If you are looking for a safe place to ride, this is it! Safe, open trails where you can ride two or three deep, no rocks and little streams and jumps to challenge yourself and your horse. Mostly shaded so you aren't in the heat. Highly recommend!
Food was great! All the tacos I tried were great, staff inside were very friendly. Couple picnic tables by the truck would make eating easier but it's a great spot!
