My husband and I stayed at the Beekman Arms & Delamater Inn in the Montgomery House. The building itself was quite lovely and our room was large, clean, and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and very clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. We had dinner in the Tavern which was very good, and the staff were courteous and attentive. The check in process was pretty quick and Christine the Front desk clerk was very helpful. As with all historic buildings the Beekman Arms has its quirks, but its history and charm make this a hotel/tavern worth visiting-We will be coming back!
We had our annual holiday party at the hotel . It was handled professionally from beginning to end . It was very easy to arrange and required minimal effort . The property has a wonderful, warm, historic atmosphere. The food was great! The inn is lovely as well. We received excellent service from Hailey and Dani.
This is the second time we stayed at the Delamater Inn, different from the Beekman Arms. It fit our needs for a hiking and exploring-the-area weekend. Spacious, clean, plain room, gas fireplace, good amount of counter space in the bedroom & bathroom, a kitchenette, a thoughtful sherry decanter. Sitting area could use a few decorative touches (a throw, items on the mantle, perhaps). While we understand staffing challenges post COVID, the continental breakfast was so poor, we skipped it the remainder of our three night stay. With a fabulous bagel shop literally around the corner (Rhinebeck Bagels), hotel served commercial bagels & muffins from sealed plastic bags, plastic portion packs of cream cheese, peanut butter and jellies. Kinda disappointing for a country inn.
Complete disappointment. After making reservations 2 months in advance, without my consent, they switched my room into a terrible outbuilding in a dumpy Street promising that it would be an "upgrade". Less than 5 days from my arrival they informed me that the boiler had blown so they had to move me out of the main in into the Germond House, which was down a poorly maintained side street two blocks from the historic Inn that we had so much look forward to staying in. While some old homes and Residences can be Charming, and unique, the Germond house was simply poorly maintained, peeling paint outside, outdated inside, with dirty carpet, and a very old and tired feeling like you were in a house that had not been maintained nor kept up. Very disappointing. The only positive is that they agreed to only charge me for one night and let me off the hook for the remaining two nights when I moved to a different Hotel down the road to a wonderful new hotel in Hyde Park.
We stayed in the Firehouse Suite with the king sized bed. The room is located above the Rain Spa on Market street so we constantly heard their music starting at 8am. You have to enter via the parking lot and it’s a flight of wooden stairs outside. The suite was spacious but the shower-head definitely needs to be replaced in the bathroom. For the price I’d probably stay someplace more upscale.
Had a delightful lunch in the Tavern. The menu selection is a good mix of their regular dishes plus some excellent seasonal specials. The beer menu is consistently good and I enjoyed a tasty IPA from Hudson Valley. Service was terrific and ambiance is genuinely wonderful. Felt like I’d spot George Washington at another table.
We had our small, intimate wedding at the Beekman and could not be happier. Since we were a small group of 15, we used the Library as the cocktail hour and then our 'reception' was in the private dining room ajar. It was perfect! Stephanie and her staff were there to make sure every detail was taken care of. They did a wonderful job of bringing our vision to life, and never made us feel like we were less important because we were a small group. Because of rain, we used the formal living room in the Delmater Inn as a ceremony location and their team transformed that room into a perfect space! I couldn't be happier with the work and effort that staff put into making our vision come alive even though it could not be outdoors.
Charming old inn! "Old" as in, even Europeans might give it a "hmm". Cool history all over the place here! The bar is delightful with many tasty drinks, didn't dine here but it smelled delicious! Great location too, walking distance from everywhere in town. The room we stayed in was not "fancy", but was comfortable and had original wooden floors and came with some cream sherry to sample! Overall, very enjoyable stay!

Best pizza in town! So good that I had to order the special clam pizza plus my go to margherita. The clam pizza was perfectly cooked and tasted great, while the margherita was wonderful as per usual.
This place is my idea of paradise. Forests are my spirit home and this one was amazing. I was visiting from the UK and really loved it. With 2 small nephews we didn't walk a full trail but I still had plenty of wilderness to enjoy and a desire to com
Dropped in for an early dinner while passing through Rheinbeck. The dining area is on the small side hour, but due to the hour we found a place to sit after placing our order with the cordial counter person. I had two standard dogs and regular fries.

I ordered by slice, the staff warmed it up for me. The bottom was crispy and the dough is chewy. I guess it would taste so good if I ordered the whole pizza freshly made. Definitely I will go back again.
I really liked the decor of this place, and I was happy to have Mexican food again because that's mostly what I eat here at home in Houston. The food was delicious and they give you plenty, and although it's a little bit pricey, it makes sense for th
