They thought of everything we needed, and then some! From moment one, when we were greeted and were checked in at the door even before we got out of the car, and were personally brought up to our lovely, clean room in the cottage, until the final moment when we checked out easily by text, everything about our stay was perfect. The room had all that we needed, including a jacuzzi tub and king size bed, with a fridge and coffee maker just outside the room in a shared space. The main house was inviting and comfortable, the staff all welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and the breakfasts were delicious and made to order. We even enjoyed the ordering process, choosing our breakfast items the night before by checking them off and leaving the list on our door, and choosing the time we would be eating. My cheese omelette, oatmeal, and bacon were perfect, my husbands scrambled eggs, bacon, and french toast were, too (2 items came included in the room fee, with a reasonable added fee for the extra items). They also had sweet treats available at breakfast, along with coffee, tea, toast (self serve while waiting for the rest of breakfast). They gave us links to local restaurants, and were available for anything we needed by text or phone the entire time of our stay. We truly couldn't think of anything they could have done better! We will be back!
My husband, daughter and I had a 4 night stay in the King suite, and it was wonderful through and through. I love the B&B experience, but it's rare to find one with a suite, which is really helpful when traveling with children. The room was bright, clean, and updated and the soaking tub was luxurious. More than that the hospitality and service was warm and top-notch. Everyone was so welcoming to our daughter, and she made best friends with the B&B house dog. And the breakfasts were delicious. On our last morning, my daughter said, "I wish we could live here forever."
Wonderful stay. Extremely clean. Great location. Food was wonderful. Attention to detail puts it over the top (what other Airbnb offer a nightcap - brandy, port or sherry?). Check-in was easy as possible extensive on-site parking. Highly recommend.
My husband and I spent two night at this location. The owners and staff members were great. Each evening we were asked to choose from a breakfast menu and place it outside our door for pickup. Breakfast included your personally selected menu entree such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, granola with yogurt PLUS juice(s), coffee, tea, hot or cold cereal, toast.|Room was comfortable and clean. Large jacuzzi tub functioned well.|Our only problem with this location is the distance from Thames Street where everything is happening. It was about .60 mile walk to wharf. About 2.2 mile walk to cliff walk north entrance.|Uber and taxi phone numbers were given to guests upon check-in.|Very nice stay except for distance from wharf area.
Terrific place. Lovely room. Magnificent trees and porches from which to admire them. Quiet. Delicious breakfast, snacks (rich brownies, candy, cookies), and coffee. What stood out though was the staff really extending themselves to accommodate our changing needs.
We stayed in Newport for 2 nights. This place was centrally located to all the attractions. The rooms were decent sized and very very clean. Staff was lovely and not intrusive. Breakfast was basic but good. Outside areas very comfortable and also very clean. Was a lovely stay
Excellent value and nice walk to town, not too far. Perfect "off the beaten path" Inn!|We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and the rooms in the "cottage" were clean and comfortable. I would recommend this Inn in a heartbeat to my friends and family.
Stayed here in Oct for a birthday weekend getaway, and it was such a lovely experience. Very clean room, the jacuzzi was so nice, and the wine & snacks in the main area are a really nice offer for guests. Morgan was extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great too, made fresh from options you choose the night before, no complaints there. Location is perfect too, very close to so much to experience in Newport. I enjoyed it so much I just recently called to book another weekend in April. There was a huge mix up with booking and a problem was encountered, but Morgan the owner, personally called me and handled the issue extremely professionally. We are very excited to stay here again and support a business that cares and goes above & beyond to make matters right. Thank you!
Perfect place to stay in Newport. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Wes who was welcoming and informative about the Lodge and surrounding area. The bed was comfortable and the room was charming. Breakfast was delicious. Coffee, teas, and a v
Nicely crafted bracelets, love the fit and the clasp they use. Very durable. And love the designs! They were helpful and held a specific color and size for me when the new shipment came in. Conveniently on the last day of my trip! I did overhear a gi
This bed and breakfast is an absolute must stay in Newport. It's adorable, clean, and cozy. Walking distance to the beach and the bars, but far enough that you can sleep soundly. Serena, the inn keeper is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. She tru
