Bedford Motel - Hotel in Bedford - 30 North Rd, USA

My room was very dirty, stained walls, floors, ceiling and office chair....gross. The holes in the entryway wall did not leave a very safe feeling showing that the door had been kicked in while in the locked position. Atleast a new strike plate was nailed over the busted door casing....It was not possible to look around and find something and say "oh that's clean and not broken in some way". I'd say you get what you pay for but ....I've stayed at cleaner campsites....for less money On first arrival I found we had no towels...great ...so evidently the room was not touched... Mattress was unbelievably lumpy, one side was usable as the other side had springs pushing up through..... imagine the surface of the moon.... The ceiling in the bathroom was some sort of Masonite sheet that was falling down and nailed up in a few spots (needs more nails).... upgrade to sheet metal screws? Stainless steel ? Nah.. The plastic walls in shower were pulling off and allowing water to go under the shower pan, leaving a permanently squishy shower bottom. Imagine the mold? The really trashy motel does not fit in with the very affluent and historic area boasting a quick train ride to Boston. The TV was nice

Very disappointing. I figured it's in nice, friendly Bedford... had driven by it for years... it's at a good price... how bad can it be? Was asked to pay in advance, fine. Can I have a receipt? "No, we don't do that. " OK, fine... on to the non-smoking room... which had a powerful smell. (But not smoke... so maybe that's fair?) One chair, so deeply stained with a variety of moisture patterns I felt I needed to wrap it in plastic to use it. Though disgusted and never going back, I give it a second star purely for location (nice location in a nice town) and price. You get what you pay for here I guess...

Very basic but adequate accommodations. Carpet needed vacuuming/cleaning since our light colored socks got quickly black after a few steps around the room. No breakfast but the Dunkin Donuts within walking distance was convenient.

Our flight has been cancelled for 2 days, we stopped here to book a room for the night after a long day, sketchy guy hanging outside the office didn’t hold the door for me and didn’t even smile when i had to squeeze past him to get into the office immediately making me uncomfortable, was given the keys and the second I walked into the room I was punched in the face by cigarette and must, the room was damp, none of the surfaces were wiped down, sheets were stained with yellow, pillows were yellow, bathroom had hair all over it and the mirror and toothpaste spit on it. I walked right back to the desk and told the man I could not stay there with the cigarette smell, he offered me another room but I could not trust the lack of attention to very basic cleanliness. I was refused a refund after he pointed to a VERY small sign behind the desk stating no refunds, maybe that is something to disclose before sticking people in a $121 dirty, smelly room, could have just gone to the hampton inn up the street but was trying to support local, I wish i took more photos

Decent hotel for the money. Rooms were clean. It is a little dated but I didn't expect much from a smaller non chain motel. It has your basics TV, Internet, Microwave etc. Easy in easy out. All rooms are first floor which was nice not to have to lug stuff up stairs. Did take a few minutes to check in but the staff was pleasant. Easy key drop off box when you leave. Very quiet which was nice not to hear the traffic go by. We had some noise coming from the heater which was a little annoying but that's just a small thing, it worked and that's what was important.

Positive: Nothing Negative: The room was dirty, floors were dirty, wore shoes in room so I didn't walk on debris on floor. Bathroom was dirty., ice bucket was dirty with a large mosquito in it dead. Inside of door was visibly dirty. Sheets and towels were stained.

Positive: It was conveniently located in a good, clean location. Negative: Though the door did lock, it did not close entirely, the walls needed cleaned, & it had some shady characters staying / hanging out on the hotel grounds cussing, fighting, & running on the property. Better security is needed in enforcing rules / safety.

Location is great. Bedford is a nice little town, big shops and attractions nearby. Bed isnt bad, aircon works well. We stayed in the motel for one night. The welcome was not warm. The man behind the desk only gnarled at me. If he said ten words it was much. The place smelled moisty. The room was a disaster. Lamp didnt work, dirty showercurtain, stains on the sheets, dust in the bathroom, blood on the wall in the shape of a hand. Why is the light blue anyways? I can be we were just unlucky, but i'll never visit here again.
