Beaver Brook Reservation - Park in Belmont - 66 Mill St, USA

This is my daughter and I's FAVORITE park! I first began taking her here when she was a baby and I, a new mother. I would put her in her stroller and we would take our time walking down the asphalt path which surrounds the main park. It is an easy walk through and it has some breathtaking scenes. This path takes you through areas of shade from the large trees above, bright open green meadows, and over a bridge with a roaring waterfall below. As you pass through, some of the trees have signs on them, giving you a little knowledge and history of their different types. There are plenty of benches along the way in case you want to sit down and take a break. Maybe read a book and soak in this beautiful reservation. I love how small I feel when I walk through this trail. It feels almost like a secret forest where I can hide from the busy world. Nature is such a beautiful thing. There is also a tennis court and a designated area for dogs that can be off-leash (below the playground). In the main area of the park, there are two separate playgrounds side by side. One is for bigger kids and one is for smaller kids. The ground is soft which gives me one less scrape to worry about when my daughter is running around and climbing on the structures (which has been newly renovated). It has every piece of equipment that kids love to play on. They even have a splash pad with sprinklers that turn on in the summer time. There is an area which has several large picnic tables all of which are covered by a roof for shade. There is something for everybody here at Beaver Brook Reservation. Whether you are looking to go for a walk/jog, bike ride, or for a family day outside with your loved ones. This is also a GREAT place to host a kids birthday party (we have attended several here and all have been a blast). There is a restroom area which has always been clean when I've gone in. There is a designated parking area on Waverly Oaks Road but also plenty more spots on Trapelo Road which is closer to the playground area. It is quite a large area if you aren't familiar with it. I love this place. Nature and this raw, with a creek at the heart of town is a blessing. If you love dogs this is a place for you. There’s a very nice spray deck and children’s play area.

A wonderful nature preserve in Belmont, good for walking, playing, or taking in nature during all the seasons. My favorite part is the hiking/walking trail network.

Nice park! We like the park! It’s has free parking! It is good for dogs! You can enjoy walking, running and strolling around! There are benches for picnics!

Awesome park for toddlers & old age kids. Lots of park benches, picnic tables, shelters, and general shady areas. The splash pad is huge, so young kids can play even when there are older kids running around. It has bathrooms that are mostly clean. The playground is mostly in the sun, but has a little kid area and a big kid area. The general park has an off leash dog area below where the kids play (I've never seen off leash dogs up by the splash pad) and a fun creek to splash in. It is a fun area to bike, scooter, or just run about with kids.

we love this place, we go there whenever we can. it looks like the image of paradise from Jehovah's Witnesses' booklets. it's just too bad the toilets are locked, because every time we need to go to the toilet we end up leaving.

This is such a beautiful park! There is plenty of shade for those hot days and a small stream for you pup to drink from. An asphalt path surrounds the main area, ideal for running and biking. Several benches are also made available. My dog, Ada, loves this area! Parking is a disaster after about 10am on the weekends, however.
