Appears to be a popular place with a bar in the front and back. There was live music out in back and all tv’s were displaying different football games . Service was good and fast . I had the gumbeaux. Husband had the BJ’s Boudin Poboy and red beans. Also ordered a Game day Nacho. And Ice teas. Being from AZ I was a bit shocked with how incredibly sweet the tea was, but thats how they are in Alabama unless you specify. Gumbeaux tasted great and Husband enjoyed everything . Not thrilled with the nachos. Again it’s probably a southwest thing as the Gumbo here is better then Arizona. Overall nice place

This place is awesome! I love the condiment bar! The little firecrackers are delish and probably the best spicy pickles I’ve ever had in my life… this is a HUGE compliment because I consume an embarrassing amount of pickles… it’s basically a core food group for me. I’m really sad that I didn’t ask them what brand they were because I would order them by the 5 gallon bucket. The atmosphere was awesome! 👏🏻 One of the only things we found in Shreveport that the kids actually enjoyed! There was live music on the back patio, with an extremely professional set, a with an extremely professional set up! Stage, Lights, great sound! Everyone was smiling and having fun. Our service was impeccable! Just Fantastic service! The hurricanes were ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food was well seasoned, well prepared, well presented! I have never had Boudin served with club crackers, and I don’t think I will ever eat it another way ever again. These guys really know what they’re doing! Don’t skip this place. And the king cake cheesecake was 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥 🍰 🤤

First time trying BeauxJax. Atmosphere was nice but I did feel a bit cramped as tables and people are very closely packed in a small dining area. Our waitress was very friendly and offered suggestions. My son likes the loaded Mac & Cheese as my daughter enjoyed her nachos. The New Orleans Steak Poboy was ok, since it was a steak poboy I had expected the meat to look more like steak strips vs ground beef. But it had a nice flavor to the sandwich. I would probably try a different dish next time if I was in the area but this place wouldn't be my first choice to eat at.

This is the place if you want a good Cajun food and a good beer. There are plenty of places in Shreveport that are serving either good food or good beer, but not a combo. Luckily, I found this bar. I had IPA and ordered half of shrimp po'boy with cup of gumbo. Po'boy was good, gumbo ok, beer was nice. The place was crowded when I entered, seems a popular place. Update: went here a second time for a drink and ordered shrimp cocktail, that was tasting yummy!

We weren’t blown away by the food. It was simply ok. Would I eat here again, maybe, just to try something new, but there wasn’t anything that was served that I can say was actually delicious. The customer service was excellent and the staff was friendly. It was decently clean and atmosphere was great for a Friday night.

Best Mac and cheese ever! My family just moved here so my husband and I decided to try out a place that was new to us. It was highly recommended by one of the staff at the hotel we are staying at. We ordered the Mac and Cheese, 2 Po Boys, and Boudin and crackers. Again, best Mac and Cheese!! We got it loaded with the Andouille, Shrimp, and Chicken. Our extended family comes to visit next week and we already know we'll be bringing them here. The staff did mess up our order a little bit, but they were so kind and went above and beyond to correct it, which we really appreciated. One of our new favorites and we already can't wait to come back. Oh ya, and great Banana Pudding and cheesecake!

Sweet location, nice greeting, and friendly staff. Super helpful for novice Cajun food diners, explained boudin and answered other questions. Good food, and nice options with half poboys and cups. Condiment bar is a nice touch too

.You can enjoy good entertainment and friendly service here. At night, I ordered 1/2 boiled shrimp, jambalaya, a cocktail, and a beer. Had Po'boy and Gumbo for lunch the next day. The food tastes neither great nor bad. Just go ahead and enjoy your time. Don't eat outside. If yor do, you will eat yours with the flies.
