Sunday Brunch Buffet is the absolute best. EVERYTHING on the Buffet is delicious. My favorite was the stewed tomatoes. The Bread Pudding with Brown Butter Bourbon Sauce and Homemade Whipped Topping ....you can't get this just anywhere.😋 I just can't recommend their Sunday Brunch Buffet loud enough.💥💥💥💥💥 5 STAR.
We had a room in the main building. The bed was comfy and there were 2 upholstered chairs and a dresser. The bathroom was small, but clean and well stocked. There was a charming, creaky elevator that was a help to take our luggage upstairs. The furniture was all vintage beautiful pieces.
It was a lovely place to stay. However, there are no coffee makers in the rooms. There was breakfast blend downstairs and a Keurig with only decaf k-cups. Point...bring your own k-cups and have a wonderful time. I definitely recommend Central Kentucky Tours for a bourbon tour.
I can’t speak to the rooms or anything because we only attended a catered birthday event here. That being said, the event was to celebrate our 90 year old grandfathers birthday and one of the waitresses serving lunch made me genuinely afraid for my life. She was so rude, it took an hour to even get some salads out and when I let her know that I had actually ordered a different dressing, she sighed. I apologized and she said “it’s fine” and eventually had me grab the correct dressing off someone else’s plate. A lot of us hadn’t even gotten our drinks but we were afraid to ask her about them. It was like being in some deranged fever dream. She’s attitude was quite the topic of conversation around the tables - I certainly would not recommend hosting an even here with the blatantly mean servers.
A quaint place to stay in Harrodsburg while attending an event held in one of the 3 buildings on the property. I made the reservation online a couple of weeks ahead of the stay, got an email confirming then decided to also call to make sure all was in order. The front desk attendant was friendly and assured me the booking was in place. We quickly checked in on arrival and decided to have a bite to eat in the cozy tavern attached to the pub & main building @ the inn. The service there was quick & friendly as well with a good selection. I had the Chicken liver dinner. It was hot and delicious. Next we took our bags across the street to our room in Goddard Hall. We reserved a room with a queen & foldaway Murphy bed. I found the room spacious & comfortable…. thermostat was set @70° which was comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and accommodating. The event we attended took place in the 3 rd building on the property in Greystone House. |The beds were comfortable. |When we woke we returned to the Main Inn for the breakfast that was included with lodgings. We explored the inn to find many lovely antiques & decorated beautifully for the Christmas holiday.|I enjoyed the breakfast choices.|A beautiful property with a friendly, helpful staff. |I would definitely stay there again.
My husband and I wanted a little get away before the chaos of thanksgiving with our large family. We had one night at the inn, dinner at the tavern and a wonderful breakfast. Everyone was so kind and the accommodations were very clean and comfortable.
This historic inn is lovely. The breakfast is outstanding and the rooms are comfortable. I enjoy history, so this place was right up my alley. Parking is free and wifi is included. The only reason I rated this stay as "very good" as opposed to "excellent" was the front desk staff. I am sure my experience wasn't the norm, but my reservation booked six months prior was lost as was another room in our party. Luckily, I had called back when I didn't receive a confirmation email, but the other party did receive an email and their room was still not showing up. So I rebooked it for them on my credit card. Due to traffic, I was racing to get to a family event upon arrival and didn't notice my old credit card was holding my room (as in my mind I had just given them the correct card number the night before). My fault, but the main issue was when they called me about it (since no one was on desk when I left early in the morning, even after waiting the 10 minutes the sign said to wait) and I gave the correct number, the lady at the desk said, snarkily in my opinion, that this is why they ask about the cc upon check in. I had already apologized, so I don't know why she had an attitude about it. But, as I said, other than the front desk losing reservations and then the not so nice phone call afterwards, I did enjoy my staff. The breakfast staff was delightful.
We had an excellent stay at the Beaumont Inn. The Inn was centrally located when touring the Bourbon Trail. The staff is courteous and helpful. The facility is clean and our room was nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was beautifully updated. We had no intention of eating all of our dinners (3) at the Owl’s Nest Tavern, but enjoyed the food and beverages so much the first night, we also had dinner there the other two evenings! We liked sitting on the front porch in he evening and also walking through the neighborhood in the morning.||The breakfast is very good, but some of our food was warm, not hot. We had that issue all three mornings. That’s the only suggestion I would make.
Nice ice cream shop with some great lunch specials!! I had the Pulled Pork Nachos with a sweet BBQ sauce and the Mrs enjoyed the Carnita Tacos. The only improvement I would suggest is either salsa or some Nacho cheese with the side of chips the Mrs

Dan heard me mention that I loved Bleu cheese olives, and went to the kitchen to stuff them himself. This was the most professional service I've had in years.
Very nice area. Unfortunately when we were there the Fort was closed up. There is an amazing Osage orange tree there that's huge. The pioneer graveyard was interesting to walk through. This area is rich with history.
