Beaufort House Inn - Bed & breakfast in Asheville - 61 N Liberty St, USA

This beautiful historic house turned inn was a perfect place to spend a night for our anniversary getaway. The Rose room has a spacious bathroom and a view over the front lawn. The bed was very comfortable. It would be great to have some darkening shades or curtains as a good bit of light comes through the three big windows. The breakfast of French toast, yogurt parfait, and bacon was delicious. There were cookies out when we arrived. Self-serve tea and coffee were always available. Amber was great at communicating with us before our arrival and welcoming us when we arrived. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Beaufort House Inn.

Just leaving the Beaufort House Inn this morning after spending three nights in The Garden Room. The Inn is beautiful. We were greeted by Cheryl who gave us a tour of the Inn and showed us where everything was and then showed us to our room on the second floor. The room was comfortable and clean. We didn’t use the outside balcony due to it being wet outside. Our bed was comfortable and we appreciated the sofa to sit on to watch tv. and not have to sit in bed to relax after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. | The bathroom was adequate and original. We had to adjust the shower curtain so we would be able to access the handles to turn the shower on and reach our soap. This is a claw foot tub/shower and may be difficult for someone with mobility issues to get into. The toilet sits directly across from the tub with minimal space. The bathroom is large with lots of space at the back which is empty. | Delicious treats are provided each evening and are not to be missed! Wine was served Friday and Saturday from 4-6. Breakfast was amazing and served at 8:30am. Keurig coffee and hot tea are available 24/7. The “good” coffee is put out at 7am each morning. There are plenty of available tables for two inside and outside. We are on the front porch. | The only issue we had was today. We arrived for the good coffee at 7:20am and no one was around. No coffee and no one preparing any. We decided to leave and head home. Not sure if Labor Day had anything to do with this, but we were looking forward to having coffee and breakfast one last time at the Inn. When we left at 7:45 the coffee had appeared but still no one in the kitchen making breakfast. Had we been informed that the holiday would change the timing we would not have been disappointed. | If you’re looking for a quaint spot just outside of busy downtown Asheville don’t hesitate to book this lovely Inn.

We absolutely loved this place! A momma bear and 2 cubs were resting/playing outside in the back yard upon our arrival, so we watched them for an hour! The house is beautiful and clean! Host was very helpful in answering any questions. Great dinner spot was within walking distance. Breakfast was wonderful! Great stay all the way around! Will stay again for sure and highly recommend!

Everything was exceptional. The house and grounds are beautiful. My room with a balcony was perfect from the claw bathtub to the beautify design bedroom. I was greeted upon my arrival with a tour, help with luggage and suggestions on dinner spots after traveling. Last but certainly not least - were the breakfast prepared my the chef. What a way to begin a morning. Everything was great!

We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay here!|What a beautiful house, friendly staff and comfortable beds. Every detail was so nice, including the white robes in our bathroom. We can’t say enough good things about the breakfast chef, delicious breakfast.

This is a really nice bed and breakfast. The breakfast was fabulous and should be called gourmet. Plus, they were very accommodating due to some dietary restrictions. The main street is about .8 of a mile away. You can walk it. We used ride share instead. We were very happy staying here.

The Beaufort Inn is delightful. It is perfectly located just minutes away from downtown and a block away from the trinity of grocery stores (Harris Teeter, Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods right next to each other???). The hospitality was great - a warm welcome upon arrival and at each breakfast. The room was very nicely decorated fitting the historic house. As a thoughtful touch, when the Sunday hostess learned that we would be leaving on Monday morning before breakfast service, she arranged to have two to-go breakfast snack bags made up for us in the refrigerator. A splendid place - highly recommend!

This is a quiet, lovely Inn!! The food at breakfast is fun, the coffee is great! They go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. I house itself is beautiful and you can just feel the history! I was up early and enjoyed my morning coffee on their back patio and had a snow-white type experience watching bluebirds that were on the chair and bushes all around me!! How can you not love that? Ample parking and easy access, the place is very clean and well kept. There is a certain help yourself vibe that i also enjoyed. While I have not seen all the rooms, I peeked around some and think they are all charming, I spoke with other guests, and they agreed. while I saw no families while I visited as a father of 4, I would certainly think this a family, or couples friendly place. sits on the top on my list of I'll be back! and the prices are great 7 minutes from Biltmore.
