BearWaters Brewing Company: Creekside - Brewpub in Maggie Valley - 4352 Soco Rd, USA

Very good food, friendly staff! A surprising selection of authentic Thai food also! The Salted Caramel Porkchop was probably one of the best I have had anywhere. The drunken noodles and sweet and sour chicken was also delicious!

We came to Maggie Valley to spend the weekend in the mountains and go for a few hikes. One of the days we came to this brewery - when we arrived we thought it was closed down for good, but it seems they have had some issue in their front with either water damage or something going on with the roof. Once we entered from the side, we were surprised what a nice space BearWaters has inside - plenty of different areas or zones for different ambiances. Staff were super nice, and helped us figure out what beer to order. All the beers we got were great, I especially liked the sour ones. We ended up getting fried pickles (which were AMAZING) and the wings were also awesome. Fries and burgers were great as well. We were very impressed with the quality of the food, you don’t always expect that from a brewery - not that it was upscale, but it was just delicious and well served and presented. I was very satisfied with the whole evening we spent at the brewery, and will recommend anyone come check them out! Just don’t ignore them if it seems closed from the front, they may still be doing repairs. Absolutely awesome place to eat, drink, and hang out!

We had a delicious Thai meal here. Bartender was really great. She made a delicious Bloody Mary. We found our Apres ski location.

FYI, I never leave reviews. I absolutely loved this place! The food was phenomenal, the beers were the best we've had in a long time, and the service was great! My husband had the shaking beef, I had the drunken noodle, we had the steel paddle IPA, the black IPA, and our waitress was Angela. I cannot say enough great things. Then, after talking to Angela, we went to their other location for a few more beers and to play arcade games with our kids. So much fun! Can't wait to go back!

A great spot to chill and grab a brew right on the creek. A full kitchen and numerous beer and cider options. You'll meet friends and find a great spot to chill after a motorcycle ride or family activity.

This is one of our favorite places to get some awesome food and craft brewed beer. We love to sit outside by the creek in good weather . There is a new menu here at the Maggie Valley location and it is awesome. Pictured here are the fried oysters and eggplant rollatini.

You order your drinks and food at the bar and find your own seat, and if the weather allows, you should try to find one on the deck near the water. It's a great opportunity to enjoy a great meal with a great view. They seemed to be out of a few things, but I was able to settle on the blackened chicken wrap and fries. The food was very good and the fries were unique and delicious.

Good food. Quick service of food. You go to the bar and order drinks/food. They give you a number and then later being your food to table. Option to sit outside along the creek on back deck. Tried a beer and a cider along with pretzel with beer cheese, patty melt and a burger. Potato wedges type fries. Friends had a delicious looking 16" flatbread and a wrap. Overall enjoyed our experience.
