I used this place for two 1 night stop overs heading to/from northern CA. Easy in and out, wide spots, freeway close, polite staff. All perfect for an en route stop. Plenty of curb appeal at the entrance but it's definitely a 'no frills' spot. There is a single toilet + shower that was clean but run down. No picnic tables or fire rings, and shade trees are very sparse. A small grassy dog park is there if you need it, which is nice. Freeway/road noise is on the lower side of moderate and not noticeable inside the RV. Full hook ups are another plus, but they're at the front of the site. You may need a sewer hose extension or pull up before leaving to dump tanks. I'd stay here again if passing through.

My husband and I stayed here in 2022 for 6 months. The park is immaculate, the owner's are wonderful and the staff are too. Offers 2 ( 1 on each end of the park) chainlink dog parks and is kept very clean. Beautiful area with views of the mountains right in front of the park. Not much traffic during the day, and a lovely place to stay. I stayed in the RV while my husband went to a contract job in town. I always felt safe at the park. Thanks everyone for keeping the park in such good shape. Oh, and the washateria is nice too!

This is an Rv and travel trailer place with full hookups. The staff is polite and friendly and their is wifi, laundry, and showers. This place is great! Everyone is friendly, it's quiet and my pet cat and dog love it. Only thing that I wish there was is grass. It would be nice for the pets to have grass by the fence that surrounds the place at least. Other than the latter. I would highly recommend this place. It's awesome for the value.

Super friendly staff, great price and a perfect place to stop and spend the night with easy access. We stayed on our way to the coast and on our way home, we had rv trouble and set us back about four hours. We called to see if we could stay again on our way back home to Colorado and they were great! Such short notice and left us an envelope and texted us check in directions. We would definitely stay again.

It is as plain and no frills as it gets. Dirt gravel pads, with full hookups and the staff are easygoing. So it’s quiet and peaceful here. The town is a short trip down the freeway making it rural with benefits. The place appears to be over half full most of the time. Most of the other long term tenants appear to be working people in local industries. After 3 months I have seen few of the other guests. Convenient place for a quick stopover enroute to parts elsewhere. Easy in and out. Right off 99.

Bear Mountain RV Park is a very nice place! It has nice flat gravel wide spots, some spots have trees, there's on prem washer/dryer/bathrooms and 2 gated dog parks. They have limited overnight/short term spots and a lot of monthly spots. Water pressure is about 35-40psi. It doesn't appear to have 24/7 staffing, there isn't an on site convenience store. It's about 10-20min away from most services. It's far enough from the road where road noise is a minor rumble. Price is competitive and worth staying here.

Nice enough no-frills RV Park. There were plenty of available sites, but the website tries to get you to sign up by saying "one site left." There is only 1 bathroom and it's NOT separate from shower. So, if you want to use the bathroom and someone is showering, you have to wait!

We stayed there several months ago, and had reservations months in advance. When we arrived, at about noon, a sign at the gate said our paperwork would be left in the box with our name on it. Well, there was no paperwork with our name on it. We didn’t have an assigned site, so we just drove into an empty space and parked. We waited about an hour, with the Bakersfield flies invading our trailer, till a girl came around in a golf cart and told us we couldn’t use that space. So finally, she gave us a space and wrote down a bathroom code. When I went to the bathroom, the code didn’t work and the girl had left the rv park. It took an hour or two before another person walked around (because the park was deserted) and gave me the actual code. It wasn’t someone who worked there, it was a resident who I was lucky to find. There was one tiny shower stall for the entire park. The next day, another rv pulled in next to us, and they had the exact same experience as us!! Since staying here, we’ve stayed at 50 other rv parks, and this was our worst experience. I would not stay here again.

Stayed there last night. This is a really great park. Very clean and convenient to the I5, but without the noise from the I5. The price was really good - we paid more the night before for a parknthat wasn't even in the same league as River Run. Th

Stopped for dinner in Bakersfield on our way to San Jose. We enjoyed some pupusas - shrimp for hubby & loroco (squash flower) for me. The chicken tamal was very fluffy and had more of a spongy texture. The plantain empanadas were very rich and creamy
