So this is how the other side lives!! Lol. We hiked from the pine tree area to the Bear Creek parking lot. Beautiful sights loving creation. Birds singing and tons of butterflies. Toilets on bear Creek so clean and not a nauseating experience as opposed to pine tree. Enjoy hiking this trail about three times per week.
One of my favorite hikes! Has so many trails where you can make your hike longer or shorter. A good mix between steep and gradual incline trails. Tons of cows!
Briones Road to the Briones Hills. I did a fantastic 4.5 mile hike here. There are a lot of hills and plenty of paths to take to make your hike shorter or longer. Plenty of parking and definitely dog/bicycle friendly. Cows do roam freely here so watch your step(lots of cow pies).
I hiked the Briones Loop Trail on a Wednesday winter morning (nearly spring - April 16, 2021). This is really a beautiful place. Rolling green hills, majestic vistas in nearly every direction. Simply gorgeous. You can see both Mt. Diablo and Mt. Tam at the same time from certain parts of the trial. Views include Walnut Creek, Concord, Martinez, the Carquinez Straight, and much more. Wildlife included squirrels, rabbits, coyotes, red tail hawks and many different types of songbirds. Starting from the parking lot follow Old Briones Rd. Trail to Seaborg Trail. Turn right onto Seaborg Trail and follow to Briones Crest Trail. Turn lest on Briones Crest Trail until you merge with Table Top Trail. Stay on Table Top Trail passing Briones Peak until you meet Briones Crest Trail again. Take this until you turn left onto Mott Peak Trail. Follow Mott Peak until you meet Abrigo Valley Trail onto which you turn left. This will lead you back to the parking lot for a 6.5 mile loop. Watch out for cows!
We had a great time hiking in the Morgan Territory here. My only gripe is that the water fountain did not work. So please bring all the water you need to hike. The backpacking camp has water, but you start at the trailhead with none.
Really great place to take a walk and get some rest. You can meet a herd of grazing cows and their poops?, lizards, salamander and horses. The road is a bit bumpy due to cow's footprints. And if you're lucky, you can find the secret place for washing your hands when you're walking along the valley trail. It will look like the picture below~!
Tucked away in the hills . A windy road t lakes you to the staging area. Full of trails and open space. I personally like that's it's very spread out.
Beautiful entrance into Briones, as long as you're willing to hike uphill.

We had a meeting in a separate room. The excellent service was matched by the well-prepared food. Everyone enjoyed their meals from the flatbread appetizer through the great desserts. Those who imbibed enjoyed the wide selection of excellent wines.
The host was nice enough to allow me slightly after closing, when their sign was forgotten âopenâ but I appreciated their welcoming nature. It looks like a family business so the family atmosphere was welcomed as I have been away from home in a w
The Park Bistro & Bar in Lafayette, California, offers a delightful culinary experience, especially with their dessert, the Chef's Chocolate Tart. This masterpiece combines a rich chocolate tart shell with a lusciously smooth chocolate mousse. The ad
We had a great lunch, and everything was delicious. The steak torta was phenomenal , the chiles rellenos super tasty, fresh and authentic. The sopes were quite good as well. Everything tasted fresh and authentic. Even the salsa and guacamole (neither
I used to come to this Peets coffee every Sunday morning with friends. Weâd also grab a Noahâs Bagle and hang out in back. Over the years, I started going to other Peets but this one still holds a place in my heart. It always smells great, is
Very good food. Nice atmosphere and customer service as well. Definitely try their empanadas. The prices are a bit high for a casual place that doesn't use waiters, but the food is worth it. Expect to pay $10-15 per person.
I should have taken a picture, but I scarfed the burrito down so fast! I just wanted to rave about this place and their wonderful customer service. I came in and asked for a simple bean and cheese burrito. I paid and then it occurred to me after to a
