This place is gorgeous! Love to let my kids play while I take in the scenery around me. It’s a great place to have picnics and parties. It’s a huge park with a ton of open green space. There are pavilions you can reserve or use on a first come/first serve basis. The equipment is entertaining to children and overall it’s a very nice, calm vibe. This is a community sustainability project—There is a community garden located right in the park.
There is a multitude of signs across this entire park that say "dogs must be on leash" "violators are subject fine". Funny enough, this doesn't apply to anybody. I have 2 dogs and I know the rules so I choose not to bring them to this park. There is a dog park 1 BLOCK AWAY. So I recommend to the entire city of Colorado Springs even the entire state of Colorado to bring their dogs to Bear Creek Regional and let your dogs run through the fields, defecate on the soccer fields, bite other park goers and just generally ignore any and all posted rules. I also hear open bon fires in the field are now acceptable.
Wonderful!!! Even on a crowded Saturday, the people were friendly. We reserved a pavilion for a birthday party and had a fantastic day. Playing, flying kites, eating and enjoying a safe clean environment.
It's a great place we had a little birthday party for my grandson I got him a bike and he rode it around a bit we had pizza and did his cake there is bbq grills there it's a busy place so reserve a spot or come early we had a good time kids played at the playground also
Favorite park in the area but bathrooms are closed and all water/ drinking fountains are turned off.
Huge, beautiful, clean and family friendly park. Picnic tables galore. Lots of trees and shade. The grandkids had a blast.
Was at bear creek for the easter egg hunt. It was on april 8 2023. This was the best egg hunt I ever seen. The playground was very clean. The bathrooms were very clean also. The pavilions are always kept very nice.

Wonderful state of the art park with playgrounds for ages 2-5 and 5-12 year Olds. There is also and exercise section for adults and nearby skate part and bike parks.

You can't go wrong with playing this course. Just be mindful of those on the sidewalk on #4-#7 #12 & #13 depending on how you throw!

Wow! Gluten and dairy free for over a decade. Probably that long since Iâve had fried chicken. The fried thighs with sweet potato fries were tasty and fresh from the fryer. The fry bread with cinnamon and sugar were a great way to finish the meal.
