Nice place to kick up the feet for a bit. Plenty of picnic tables for everyone. Cool ponds, probably wouldn’t swim in them, but they do have fish and turtles as well as other four legged dudes hanging around.
Nice place to walk off lunch
Had a pretty good time here. Great place to hike. For beginners, it fits. Not too long or difficult.
I have hiked in many places, but this is close to home in Lancaster. It is a gem the community.
Nice, well-maintained green space in Lancaster. Beautiful place to spend an afternoon in nature with the family. The park has a fishing pond, picnic tables, clean bathrooms, a pavilion, lots of trees, a kid-size bouldering wall, walking and equestrian trails, and city-sponsored camping. We enjoyed walking around the pond and hiking some of the trails back in the woods. Be warned, there are no markings or maps to know where you are. Peaceful, quiet park just off Belt Line Rd and 342, near the interstate.
It looks like it could be a nice place, but it doesn't appear to have been well maintained for a very long time now. You could tell someone had mowed recently, but other than that, most everything seem to be pretty much falling. There were boards up in various places where you could tell that at one time they had maps or informational displays, but none of them had anything on it and half of them were close to falling over. Definitely not worth the trip out there. If the city of Lancaster doesn't seem to care about this park, why should any of us?
Absolutely beautiful! But don't even think bout being there after bout 6 in the evening unless u wanna stay the night! They do lock the gate and they don't check to see if there are visitors in the park!!
However, the Lancaster Police man that came to our rescue lol was so nice! We were so embarrassed it was quite humorous!
1st time visiting this nature park and we enjoyed it.
Great place to enjoy lunch or go for a walk in nature. There is a fun climbing rock if you want to do some bouldering with the kids. Clean bathrooms, lots of picnic tables, and we defined trails that lead to a fishing pier.
We saw signs of a bever in the area around the pier. Lots of chewed tree stumps about a foot tall. We never did see a bever, though, but there are lots of red eared slider turtles.
There are horse paths, trails, and a designated area for horses.
It is very easy to find and has quick access to 342 and I-35 nestled between Red Oak, Lancaster, and Glenn Heights.
Nice quiet park
This place is okay.
For a nice park with lots of tree shade, It's fantastic!.
They are trying to build a decent fishery here, and that's struggling. But as an owner of a small pond myself, I can tell you it's very difficult with the past years of drought that we've had.
They are obviously putting a lot of landscaping and water conservation effort into this.
I just think this small and shallow of a pond is absolutely screaming for a pond aerator/ fountain to help them grow bigger fish.
If they had that and a little better connection to Bear Creek for water flow in and out, this could develop some really great fishing I think

I dropped by on a Sunday to take some pictures of the vintage planes. No events going on and I was the only visitor. Everyone was very friendly and stopped to chat. I was able to walk around the hangar freely and get my photographs. Planes were towed
I had an amazing experience at this fine establishment that served both vegan food and metaphysical products for your holistic healing needs that is super rare in the food industry which is surprising because the both of them go together like peanut
This is a classic, old school style restaurant with some of the best food I've had. The customer service is great, and the prices are very affordable for such an amazing quality of food. I'd highly recommend stopping here if you pass through
This is the best franchise location in Dallas! Although next to the Interstate, it's proximity to the cloverleaf interchange keeps traffic running smoothly. I only order the crispy tacos and they are always fresh and proper amounts of ingredients.
Im really hard on barbecue places, but I must say that the barbecue here is absolutely good. The prices are reasonable and they have a really big menu. The loaded backed potato is very tender, and the barbecue sauce is something that I would call am
