Bear Creek Lake Park Visitor Center - Visitor center in Lakewood - 15600 W Morrison Rd, USA

Great place for a close to the city (Denver) but with a mountain feel and atmosphere to it. The kids loved it, the dog lived it. I enjoyed it. Lots of things to do from renting paddle boats or canoes to playing beach volleyball or even relaxing in some shade way hing the young ones swim at the beach area or perhaps the nice playground even. We will be back to explore even more areas of this park.

A must stop when riding your bike around Bear Creek Lake. Enjoy it now before they flood the park to accommodate Denver's massive population influx water reservoir need :-(.

Great park! Easy hiking trails and beautiful plants, birds and views of the front range!

This is my favorite park in Colorado, bar none. Camping, fishing, biking (both road and mountain), and general leisure can all be had here! Great views of the foothills, as well as access to Bear Creek lake, if you're feeling for some water. This park is massive, meaning you can easily find solitude, even on a busy weekend.

Awesome option for anyone who wants to paddleboard and enjoy natural water near denver, the only reason it is not a 5/5 is because it gets CROWDED and the pricing for the boards is a little high (but they do match the average cost of renting a paddle board)

Awesome park with so much to do. Great fishing, great road mountain biking. Many of the reservable shelters have horse shoe pits and they are all very nice.

Nice place to take a swim and cool off. Beach is more like baseball diamond gravel than sand. Saw a lot of people biking. They also have horseback riding.

Took entire family, including elementary kids. Our ranger, Lindsay and volunteers were amazing. Hidden little gems to explore and learn from.
