Bear Creek Lake - Lake in Lakewood - , USA

It is a nice lake with a man made beach. Great for paddle boarding with friends like we did. $10 admission fee is reasonable. The parking lots for Soda Creek were full by 12 though. The only negative thing I can say about the place is the mosquitoes. OMG, there were a lot. So along with your sunscreen, bring the bug spray!

Visited it in winter when its totally frozen . Ice fishing and its a crazy experience walking on a frozen lake .

I think the experience there depends a lot on the weather and if it's crowded. It's not exactly a "lake". I saw a review from last year that mentioned mosquitoes and FYI, we call it "Mosquito Lake". For younger kids and locals I would recommend it. I also have a friend that loves to paddleboard there.

Great place to fish I have been for years. Paddle boarders are taking it over. They are rude and inconsiderate. Boating etiquette is 150 feet from fisherman. They paddle within 10 to 20 then get mad at you if you call them out on it. Very rude, selfish and inconsiderate.

We took our family photos here around Christmas. Though not the best time of the year to take pictures, we enjoyed being in the park and seeing everything it has to offer.

Beautiful Lake. Great place for fishing and kayaking!

Beautiful views. We crossed it on our way to Red Rock Amphitheater but couldn’t get the time to stop or visit the park. If you have time you can surely visit it on your way to Red Rock.
