Beacon Hotel (Short term rental) - Featured Reviews (5)
To summarize, here are the key issues we endured:
Room Door Malfunction: We had serious trouble locking our door, which left us anxious about the security of our belongings.
Non-Functional TV: The television in our room was completely inoperative, detracting from our comfort and entertainment.
Uncomfortable Temperature: We spent the night freezing due to a malfunctioning air conditioner, which was also poorly installed, allowing a very large insect to enter the room while we were sleep. We had to kill it and remove it.
These issues were not only inconvenient but unacceptable for any hotel, especially one where we had previously enjoyed positive experiences. We have photo and video evidence of the air conditioner, the lock issue, and the insect problem.
As loyal guests who have previously had positive experiences, we are deeply disappointed. We were not compensated adequately enough for the trouble we went through. We were given the option of just a 20% discount on the next stay if we were interested in it. Not at all. We will never return.
After a long day i just wanted to acess my room and there was no one to help us acess our room I spoke with someone who claimed someone was coming to help. After waiting an hour and attempting to call and email I got no reply. I ending up staying atthe roundhouse 200% better. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO STAY HERE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED.
Disgusting hotel smells of cigarettes in hallway and in the rooms. We tried to call the number listed and it dosent work and no response to emails. Do not stay here!
It’s a residential building that’s being shared with the hotel. The right side of the building smells like cigarettes. The left side is where the short term hotel rental is at. It’s pretty expensive for one night just mentioning the amenities at come included. If you’re not able to book an Airbnb beforehand, then this is a good location. I understand why the price is where it’s at. But for $150 plus taxes and fees it may not be worth it. The room itself was nice. All the appliances work. The shower worked really well. There’s nothing outstanding about this hotel. I think they should just add a separate entrance that doesn’t smell like cigarettes.
Trax is an amazing quiet coffee shop where I personally love to get work done with a cup of hot coco and a bagel with cream cheese. Donât even get me started in their cute patio with picnic tables perfect for summer. And if you like funny gender ne
Extremely flavorful Tibetan food in a relaxed and warm environment! Has a full meat menu and an entirely separate menu for vegan options. This was some of the most tasty and satisfying food Iâve had since my local Ayurvedic restaurant closed down p
This is a dream of a cafe. For someone who is trying to not drink as much caffeine due to anxiety, having a matcha cafe here is amazing. I tried the hojicha thomas for $6 and it was 100% worth it. This is a drink youâll enjoy if you like earthy cre
Their coffee is great. Had coffee with my girlfriend. She also had a baked goods snack, but I didn't know which one. This was my first visit, but she is a loyal customer. Now I am a loyal customer, too!
This is a moderate difficulty trail. Great views from the top, worth the extra mile to go to the fire tower. Bring good shoes, and enough water, you'll probably be sweating on the way up.
