Beacon 85 Apartments - Apartment complex in Lakewood - 85 S Union Blvd, USA

My recommendation? KEEP LOOKING! 100% Do NOT recommend renting here. Living here was a nightmare! My Cars were broken into and robbed multiple times, fire alarms wake you up blaring for 20 minutes or longer throughout the community (happened about five times in just a few months). The key fobs rarely open the doors. Coffee machine rarely works, amenities are an illusion — they are nothing special and always out of commission or something is broken) honestly, I hated living here and it was quite expensive considering the location. I could pay LESS and live ina more convenient location that’s closer to downtown. There are many other BETTER options. P.s. I live about the gym and can hear every little sound coming from it. YIKES. & what is that god awful smell in the stair well? It smells like decay and has been that way for over a month now.🤮

I had a mixed experience dealing with the apartment agent. While the initial renting process was smooth and hassle-free, I've encountered significant frustration with the deposit refund process. The lack of communication and transparency throughout this ordeal has been disappointing. The extended wait has not only caused financial strain but also reflects poorly on the apartment agent's professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction. Waiting for five months for a deposit refund is not just inconvenient but completely unreasonable. This prolonged delay has soured my overall experience and left me incredibly dissatisfied with the apartment agent's services. I strongly advise the apartment agent to seriously reconsider and expedite their deposit refund processes. Prospective tenants should be aware of these extensive delays, and improvements must be made to ensure a more efficient and timely refund system.

I've lived at Beacon for about a year, and I'm so glad I moved here! Of all the places I've lived, this is easily top three for me. The apartments are really nice and have so much room! The master bathroom is almost as big as a bedroom, and the closets actually have space. My roommate and I have get-togethers, and we play pool in the skylounge a lot. The staff is wonderful, and the community is warm and welcoming. They always have fun events going on, like food-trucks days! The food is amazing and they park right outside the front entrance. Yeah, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I absolutely love it here. Ilove that they offer garage parking. The apartments are very open and spacious. The bathrooms aren't small and tight fitting! There is actually room! The office staff is so nice and friendly and the maintenance staff is very helpful and also very friendly. Ihave never had to wait long for a work order if something happens! I never have any major annoying problems here like I have had at my previous places of residence. I love the weekly community events they have and also enjoy all of the amenities, especially the sky lounge and extra hang out rooms! It's pet friendly here and they have a bathing room for them as well! I would recommend leasing here to anyone who asks.

So far, everything about this property and its management has been far and above my expectations. Not only is it situated in a prime location to balance my need for both the city and the mountains, the floor plan option I chose was exactly what I was looking for, with tasteful finishes and perks to boot! To top it all off, the management has been what makes this place stand out. In particular, Lucas Roof has been absolutely ON POINT with answering questions about the property and the leasing process; he even brought me through a walk-through via FaceTime since I am a relo from Michigan and will be coming in sight-unseen! Cannot WAIT to move in and experience all that this place has to offer. Thanks to everyone here at Beacon85! You're making this move so much less stressful. ******** UPDATE 10/31/17: Now that I'm moved in, I can truly say that management here has been nothing but helpful and sincere. Rachel and Lukas have been like gracious hosts welcoming me to the neighborhood and community that is Beacon85. Fast communication (which seems to be becoming more and more rare these days with managements!) is a highlight, as well as frequent updates on the property construction checkpoints are MUCH appreciated. They always have a smiling face and friendly hello when I get home from work and see them in the lobby.

Management here is really great. Paul is a great guy and so are the other staff members. They’ve all been pretty helpful when it comes to any issues that arise. The apartment building is nice and it has good amenities. However, it is located in a business park and surrounded completely by parking lots. Our view out the window was a Wendy’s (that we would hear people ordering through our 6th floor window). Beyond that was a Del Taco. So not the greatest scenery that’s for sure. When we first moved in about 15 months ago there were a lot of parking lot break ins (my motorcycle was vandalized twice) but that issue seems to have been solved since then. This place is definitely overpriced and to resign our lease the monthly price went up by over $700 per month… not really sure what that was about. Overall not a bad experience but you could be living in a much better area for the same price or cheaper.

I have been at this complex for about 10 months now and although there have been a couple of hiccups with the building itself along the way, the staff here have been great and very accommodating and do actually seem to care about the quality of the complex as well as its residents. Cydney, Nancy and Natalia are all very friendly and I've been extreme helpful the entire time I've lived here.

The apartment is comfortable and quiet and we think it’s worth the price. The gym is great and I use it religiously. There are some issues with the accessibility of the apartment and it’s location, and I wish they made an effort to connect the complex to the community safely for disabled folks and families (a sidewalk from the apartment to the bus stop nearby and timely snow removal would make a huge difference). We’ve met some good friends here and enjoyed our time.
