Beachway Motel - Motel in Salisbury - 82 Beach Rd, USA

I most definitely would not recommend staying there. We were in room #7. The door had cracks that you could see light coming through. The window was left open. The carpet was disgusting. The bed was lumpy. The sheets were beyond dingy. The vents had several layers of dust. There were hairs, yes multiple, on the toilet seat. The toilet was not bolted to the floor, and felt like a rocking chair. The bathroom mirror was disgustingly dirty. The floor boards needed serious attention. I was very thankful to have taken my Lysol spray and sanitizing wipes!! Obviously, housekeeping does not pay attention to details, and Management does not take care of the property. I left a note on the gratuity envelope stating their lack of attention to details, and I most definitely did not leave a gratuity. We couldn't get out of there fast enough, hence the one stars except for the location on this review.

Would not stay again. The bathroom door wouldn't shut all of the way, and it had holes in it. One of the holes was patched. The inside of the bathroom was bad. 1 of the towels was ripped, and the toilet seat was very loose. It felt like the toilet was gonna fall off the pipes. The shower had a black mark all the way to the drain. Hot water took 5 minutes to reach our room. We could see out the front door while it's closed. We got a no smoking room, but there were still burn holes through the blankets. I suggest bringing your own blanket. Also, the beds are almost rock solid. The only good part was that there were no bed bugs, and the a/c was good. Would have rather stayed in the car.

Most of the rooms are re done and absolutely gorgeous!!!!!! I will forever recommend staying here, I've been staying here since I was a small child and I still love it just as much!!! Hanesh is a heaven sent angel and so is James! You follow the rules and are respectful YOU WILL HAVE THE BEST STAY!!!!!!! VERY COZY AND HOMEY! I KNOW ILL BE BACK AGAIN EVEN THOUGH I LIVE IN TOWN and love my house but it's still like a little get away

I’ve been coming here for years! It’s affordable, close to the beach, and they have a pool! And a barbecue area now too! They must have a new cleaning person or just raised the bar in general because the rooms look and smell clean, the new bedding is soft and comfy, the new beds are super comfortable! Keep doing what you guys are doing I’m definitely going to continue coming back especially after seeing the major upgrades!

Needs a little love. Got a smoking room and I dont smoke. No hair dryer, no clock, no fan in the bathroom. The owner need to get some help fixing it up.

My daughter wanted to learn how to surf, so we spent a few days up in Hampton Beach, NH. She was having such a good time, we decided to stay one more night, but our current hotel was unavailable. Last minute in the summer, options are limited. The Beachway Motel had one room left and is in close proximity to the waves, so we grabbed it! It was a throwback to my childhood, when roadside motels lined beach communities....I do feel some of these reviews are a little harsh. It is after all, a motel, not a hotel. There is no breakfast or morning coffee service, but there is a great little breakfast place across the street. Sure, it is run down, but the tub/sink was not dirty, they just had some rust stains.....again, it is an old motel. The rooms had new tv's, a microwave and refrigerator, free internet and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Seriously, I was skeptical, and pleasantly surprised. Oh, and the A/C......was a beast, it froze our room like it was January - heaven on a hot August day! The pool was not dirty, it had a little sand on the bottom......what did you expect, you are in a beach community? (The blankets in our room did have a burn hole in one of the blankets as mentioned in another review, but it was a smoking room/the last room and the sheets, towels, beds were otherwise clean......so we did not care.) And lastly, when the tv in our room did not work upon checking in, the owners were pleasant and fixed the issue no problem.
