The rooms are clean and good size. I liked the way the bathroom was separated from the main room. The bed was comfortable enough to get sleep all night. Had a great view of the harbor and beach. We stayed on a 4th of July weekend so the fireworks show were great to watch on the balcony. My kids enjoyed staying here and we had a great time. I would definitely stay here again.
We loved our stay here! We stayed here for a family reunion and we loved the motel. The rooms were great and the air conditioning worked amazing. The pool wasn’t heated while we were there but it turned out to be perfect. If it was heated I feel like it wouldn’t have been that refreshing. The breakfast was amazing, location was great too. We took a walk almost every night we were there.
We also have a 1.5 year old daughter and they provided a pack-n- play for us while we were there. Overall great stay, we would totally stay there again! They accommodated the entire extended family of nearly 80 people incredibly well. It was a great place for a family to stay!
The location is amazing, lovely pool, family friendly, good breakfast, very clean. It seemed like a great value considering Santa Barbara prices. Staff was very helpful and friendly as well pointing us in the right direction for attractions, all in walking distance. Right across the street we ran into a Land Shark tour bus/boat and ended up on a very cool tour that dropped us right back off across from the hotel. Had a great time!
Everything was clean and comfortable and the maintenance is impeccable. |The breakfast buffet was great, the choices ….. first hotel ever I have stayed in where they had chicken sewers for breakfast and they were delicious. Sausages, ham, eggs, variety of breads, yogurt, and FRESH BLUEBERRIES!!! In the afternoon (4-5), they have free wine, cheese and grapes! I was spoiled!||Oh and the location …. Perfect. Across the sand, close to the pier, the pavilion, etc etc etc. I highly recommend this hotel, for business or pleasure - it’s perfect!
What a gem! I brought my kids and mom to the Beachside Inn. It has a very boutique feel. The employees were all so helpful and nice. The pool is a perfect Santa Barbara size. There was a perfect upper level lounge area with plenty of chairs that overlooks the pool. |I’m not a huge continental breakfast fan because they tend to be bland and food tastes stale. Theirs was beyond anything I expected. They had gf/df options, along with meats, the fixings for breakfast sandwiches, very fresh fruits, and an array of cereals. There was a wine/cheese happy hour in the afternoon. |We were right across the street from the beach and walking distance to many places to eat.
Staff was all very friendly and professional. Location is great...directly across the street from the marina. Restaurants and convenience store nearby. Balcony views are excellent but you do get some road noise as the street is directly below. The air conditioning is old and very slow to lower to the temp. It never got below 75 degrees. Both my rooms were checked by staff and the AC was said to be working fine; even the one that was making a loud clicking sound. The ceiling fan helped. Rooms are small, particularly the bathroom. Toilet seat in one room was only about a foot off the floor. Second room's toilet was much higher. I will definitely look for another place for my next visit.
Friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms were clean and so cute! Very relaxing stay. Great area, beautiful view of the beach across the street, and the mountains. Bathrooms are updated and beds are comfortable. AC, a fan, and/or a nice breeze with windows open.
It was a very good experience! Excellent customer service, clean and airy spaces. A lovely breakfast included with our stay! Reasonable prices for sure. It’s a litte dated, although our room was renovated except for the bathroom, but they’re renovating it so that’s why 4 out of 5. In my books most excellent experience!||Thank you to the staff who helped us when we transferred from horrible experience at Hilton Hotel! 💕
