This place used to be a great place to stay and was one of our favorite places to stay when we visit Seaside, but not after the experience we had recently. To start with, I was overcharged for my stay. When I booked the room it was one price but when they charged my card it was a different price. I thought it was maybe a hold for something, because that does happen, and it would be adjusted to the correct amount. That was not the case. Upon arrival, the hotel was filthy and clearly wasn't cleaned before our stay. Floors has layer of dirt caked on, area rugs throughout were full of sand and dirt, dirty dishes in kitchen, absolutely disgusting bathroom with dirt IN the jets of the tub and pink water mold all along the bottom of the shower curtain, bathroom sink didn't drain. The Internet did not work at all the entire stay, couldn't watch anything on TV and couldn't use my laptop, which I needed to have for work while I was there. I reached out to the property 3 separate times about the issues and finally received a response on the morning we were leaving. The property manager lacks social and customer service skills as they were EXTREMELY rude, argumentative, and unprofessional. They denied any fault, refused any type of compensation for the condition of the hotel, including my request to be moved to a different room, wouldn't provide an email to send the proof I had (pictures and videos). Overall terrible experience, don't waste your money!
I wasn’t expecting much at $143 a night, but was pleasantly surprised. Such a cute little bungalow, clean and only two short blocks from the beach. They have no office staff on site, but every time I called the number provided, a friendly staff member answered promptly and was accommodating. Definitely a nice little affordable gem.
We called the office when we got there because of some issues we had seen right off the bat but they Don't have an on call manager to help us, just the desk guy and he said he had no Authority to help us with our issues. Door has a draft and doesn't latch all of the way and the door knob is loose and wiggly. Curtains are see through and won't close all of the way. We ended up hanging up a blanket to give us a bit extra privacy through the curtains. Towel rod broke off of the bathroom wall the first time that I took a towel off. The people in room 8 were super loud and the lady was either moaning or crying in a weird way. Room is way tinier than portraid online. Tiny 12/12 room. No description on website about sizes, which would have been super nice to have. Wifi barely works, it kept going in and out. Literal party happening in the parking lot all day with loud music and yelling/talking 😅 We paid $634 for 2 nights. Positives; the rooms were newly remodeled so it was very clean and we really appreciated that.
The room was tiny and cold when we arrived. Good luck trying to get hot water for your shower and even after 10 minutes when you do get hot water it gets cold again within 5 minutes and takes another 15 minutes to come back again and that's with the water running at the hottest setting the entire time. If you want to take a hot or even warm shower don't stay here!
Went with my family and place was so dirty. We could not stay there because we had children and the blankets were unwashed. 🤮We left the place in just 1 hour of being there and they did not want to return any money. Almost $400 spent and did not get any refund. Even their employee said the clean up crew forgot to wash the blankets because of spring break. Rude customer service. Ppl don’t stay there and avoid the bed bugs they probably have in there.
The window shades were made of paper, which is ok except when you're trying to sleep past sunrise. The shower is a death trap for seniors. Hot water took at least 20 minutes to arrive & lasted long enough for me to get soapy. It was a horror to rinse with ice cold water, especially in a glass shower. It was so slippery, I was imagining my own obituary. Absolutely dangerous.
Crammed in a sketchy residential area, nowhere near the beach. Parking situation is stressful at best. The only upside was that our accomodations were clean and looked recently updated. Personally, at almost $ 300 a night, I don't care to stay here again.
Should have read the reviews before we went there and saved me the money. Location is great clean it isn’t. Bottom of the door is messed up which lets cold air in and so the little heater runs constantly. When we came in the room I saw ants on the bedside table. Saw an ant motel behind the tv cabinet along with crumbs and hair. Laying on the bed there was an ant on the ceiling. Pulled the sheets back hairs in the bed so we slept on top of the covers. Shower door doesn’t close so water everywhere. Almost forgot the ant floating in the coffee pot water tank along with other things. If that’s not bad enough you can hear everything through the walls. Quiet it isn’t included in that is the neighbors fight followed by make up sex. Sent an email for owners to call me and still nothing they respond they would pass my info over and I’m done waiting. See the pics!
this place is absolutely beautiful & so cute. i love that their flower is local & home grown & their display is TOP notch. Kory was our budtender, he was very nice & helpful !! would definitely recommend if youâre in the area !
It's a long, windy, and narrow road into the day use area, but it's definitely worth it. The coastline is beautiful. The parking was busy when we arrived, and there was a sign saying it was full when there were actually maybe 10 spaces still availabl
June is a great time of year because of all the wildflowers, but parking isn't great (so get there early!) 80% of the hike is relatively easy... but it's that other 20% that reminds you this IS a mountain after all. Don't let that deter you though! J
Love this store. She carries great local jams, syrups, nuts, wines, chocolates and other yummy things. She has a wonderful selection of Dean Crouser art things. Coasters, wall art, stickers & more.
Good breakfast sandwiches and fun latte flavors/themes, cool atmosphere, and community vibe. Arrow to the knee drink was delicious and would go here again â¨ï¸ Love supporting queer owned businessesð³ï¸âðð³ï¸ââ§ï¸âï¸
The gentleman there was very helpful and informative. I loved the calm atmosphere with a hint of excitement. Talk about memories. Better than a Blockbuster. Took my son to experience and learn a little something about real movies. I see a new traditi
