Beachside Hotel - Hotel in Daytona Beach Shores - 3309 S Atlantic Ave, USA

Booked this hotel very last minute specifically looking for something beachfront. Once entering the lobby I saw that the hotel’s beach access was unavailable which was not mentioned in any reviews or by the receptionist when I called to book. And when I got into my room I felt like I had basically been tricked. Rooms are dated, the mattress was insanely hard (like you could bounce a quarter off of this thing), lighting is terrible. It seems clean enough and I can tell the owners make some attempt to make things nice but the rate is a little crazy considering the absolute lack of amenities. Really would not stay again or recommend. The receptionist was very nice!! Hallways clean and quiet. The balcony is nice.

Quaint little beach cottage atmosphere. Steps from shore. Lovely little spaces to lounge.Customer service 10/10 it's clear that the family vibe that they are projecting is 100% genuine. From check in to check out the staff was helpful in every way they could be. Jackie's kindness and warmth were a real treat. Special shout out to Kiki and Dawn too. After meeting their Manager ,Jen, it's easy to see that the stellar experience I had was due to a genuine atmosphere of compassion. I will stay here again, as soon as I can.

This is a very nice hotel that has been sitting on the beach for many years. The building has been taken good care of and has old Florida charm. The balconies that face the ocean are private and provide views that will take your breath away. Especially at sunrise. I've stayed here several times through the years. The rooms are updated with new beds and huge TV's with Fire TV built in. They have apartment sized refrigerators and stovetop and microwave.||The continental breakfast is really nice and has plenty of variety. They have a coffee machine in the lobby that is phenomenal! It makes everything. Latte's, coffees, macchiato, etc. From fresh ground beans!. There is a very nice sitting area right outside the lobby, very relaxing. Parking is sufficient for cars, SUVs and pickup trucks.||The staff were all very friendly and didn't rush or be rude. They were awesome and genuinely care. I promise you love your stay here. This is the 8th time we've stayed here and I won't even consider anywhere else.

I did everything online through Expedia so no where is this the Hotels fault but I paid for a beach view room, and there is something bout just opening the door and listening to the waves crash and wind whirl but when I opened my sliding glass door I was met by a pool w\ no water dirt mounds piled up to the 2nd story and the whole pool was dug out and then around 3..4…the machines crank up and they start chipping away at the concrete around the pool so that experience was a zero but the service here everyone I met was so friendly and went out of their way to help the Gentleman who works nights was awesome as well the cleanliness was outstanding I would come back here again but not until you finish your remodeling and I feel somehow this needs to be informed to the customer no matter how they purchase your room and the price should reflect it because rooms that were a bit closer to the pier we’re just as much that did not have construction going on. Would I stay here again? Yes 100% but not until you get your remodeling done Staff 5 stars Cleanliness 5 stars overall 3 stars.

The best hotel I have been in a while. The service is amazing and friendly. I had the best coffee and breakfast and my room was so clean and nice. 👍🏽 loved it!! The beach was my view in my room. The beach was beautiful and open. Extremely clean..

This place definitely deserves all five stars! I’m so thrilled with our stay here! The room smelled freshly cleaned when we walked in, the beds were nice and comfy, and the linens were clean. They provided us with plenty or towels/wash cloths. The hotel even provided makeup wipes! The view was so gorgeous and the location was perfect! Service was very nice! They had a light breakfast in the mornings that was delicious, and a very nice coffee machine! There was also lots of syrups and creamers to choose from to go with that. We will most definitely be coming back here!

The hotel very clean. The staff very polite. The breakfast was good, the area was always clean. Me and husband was very satisfied. The bed was comfortable. A good view of the beach from the balcony. Easy access to the beach even so the hotel entrance was out commission due to the hurricane.

Excellent Customer Service!! Very pleased with our stay at the Beachside Hotel. Very roomy, 2 queen beds with a kitchenette. Everything was clean and beachy decor was fun and inviting. Only a 1-2 minute walk to beach access at this time. The beach was pristine and the water sparkled! Back to the hotel: great breakfast options, fun full-service coffee machine with all kinds of selections. Cheerful and friendly staff: the night clerk helped me multiple times with my laundry when I couldn't get the machine to work. Front desk staff gave me stamps to mail my postcards. We needed to end our stay one day early, and the hotel staff assisted us with canceling the final night with no penalties! What excellent customer service! I would stay here again.
