Upon arrival we were greeted & welcomed by our host Kathie who was very friendly & helpful. She walked us to our room and made us feel right at home. There are 7 rooms in this cute boutique hotel. Our room #7 was decorated nicely and very clean and comfortable. A bonus was having a fireplace in our room that came in handy during our stay. The fridge, microwave and Keurig were great to have. Our king size bed was comfy & the room was very quiet. Kitchen was stocked with paper goods, coffee, tea & creamers. Off street private parking was great because we never had to use the car once we parked it. We were able to walk to all the shops, restaurants and the beach. This was the perfect fit for us during our stay and we would definitely come back if ever in the area again. Highly recommend, you won’t regret staying here & hopefully you’ll get to meet Kathie if you ever stay!
For being so close to the Beach you would never know, it is Quite & Well Maintained. I stay in Room 7 I am in Love with the Room the is so comfortable and you can open the window all the way. I Love that the night Life is at my Fingertips I can walk less then a Block to Harry’s Night Club, as well at Splash Clam Chowder Restaurant, Cool Cats Restaurant and my favorite Hoagie Restaurant in right across the street, the Beach and Pier plus the Playground on the Beach is a 3 minute walk. I know you can’t believe all I can say is come Sunday through Thursday and the Rooms are a lot Cheaper. Because of the off Season I come here at Least 7-10 times a year arriving Sunday Afternoon or Friday morning. The Rooms speak for themselves. It is a Five Star for a Reason spend a couple of Nights and you will see for yourself. Enjoy your Stay it has free Parking so need to Drive. You will Feel at Home. But better. ♥️🦋🥤
Cutest place to stay in Pismo Beach which is an adorable town. A spacious room with a fridge (much appreciated) and everything you need. Very comfortable beds. Not just a chocolate on the bed, but a whole bowl of assorted gourmet chocolates! An easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. But what makes the BeachComber special is Grace who picked us up at the San Luis Obispo train station and took us back the next day! Incredible. She said not to bother with checking out as she didn't need the room. She's a riot. For example, she has a sign in her car that says, "Ladies and Gentlemen. If you want to smoke in the car, the smoking section is on the roof." We'll definitely return here.
Excellent location convenient to many eating and shopping options. Beach is also within a very short walking distance. The room is immaculate. I have never stayed in a room as clean as this one. Well stocked with everything you could ever need even a box fan which I sleep with every night. I was so thankful for that. Grace was a delight to work with she goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy and that everything is to your satisfaction. I will definitely recommend. Thank you!
This little place turned out to be the best decision!! If you’re going to the beach, the location is amazing. It’s a block from the pier, so no need to look for parking and no sand getting in your car afterwards. The rooms are very clean and updated and have tons of extras, including filtered drinking water, liquid hand soap (and bar, if you like), paper plates and utensils, step stool for kids, laundry basket, lap desk, lots of cupboard/drawer space, separate kitchen sink, super fast internet, and even a candy bowl. You get a covered parking space too. The only con for us was that the bed, while comfy, was noisy getting in and out. And Grace, the proprietor, was very kind and willing to help us with whatever! Definitely recommend!
Love staying here when we get the chance. The rooms make you feel like you are at home. Cozy, clean and love the beach decor. Ms. Le Grand is always a pleasure to see and chat with when she isn't busy. Close to all shops and restaurants which is super nice. Will always choose this place over any other hotel in Pismo.
The room itself is nice. Great location. Comfy bed. All the little knickknacks you need. I was just surprised with all the reviews that no one mentioned that there’s no air conditioning in the rooms, at least in Room 1 there isn’t. Parking can be a bit tight also
Been coming here for years and we absolutely love staying here ❤. Grace who runs the hotel is very sweet and like family. She keeps the rooms and facilities very clean and up to date. You will find many surprises in the room, such as kitchen utilities, to bathroom needs. Everything you need is in your room. The hotel is one block from the beach which is great 👍 😀
We love staying here! Every room has an ocean view and when we stay on upper levels we love keeping the sliding door open so we can hear the ocean waves and feel the fresh air. Very cool town as well. We love to go into town for food and San Luis Obi
Best ocean front experience so far.
The room is clean and refreshing.
The view is amazing during sunset.
Honey birds around your patio.
Not partial ocean view, just ocean view.
Breakfast is fine, but the view is nice.
Private cove (small rock beach,
Definitely recommend this hotel. Great service. Room was super clean and nothing was missing. Nice play area with playground, table tennis... Etc. The views from the hotel and from the rooms (ocean front rooms) are spectacular. There's a trail that r
Friendly staff, gorgeous-view oceanfront rooms, and dog friendly. Really enjoyed having a glass of wine on top of the cliff watching the sunset. It's also really nice being able to walk so far on the clifftop walk from hotel to hotel. Some minor issu
A few friends and I walked in for some late night tacos. Even though we walked in 10 minutes before closing, the workers were so kind and accommodating. I was astonished at the unique meat options I have never seen elsewhere! I always go for a classi
Beautiful little park on the cliffs overlooking Pismo beach. Toys/ playground was very busy when we were there. A nice path goes along the cliff with lots of places to sit and enjoy the views
If you are a foodie, then you should certainly check out this place! Bobbie is great! I found out about this sandwich/bread shop and am so glad I did! It is one of those LOCAL treats that you may pass by if you did not look for it, I know I did until
Visited this location close to sunset on our way back to Pismo from the Hearst Castle. The grounds are very interesting and beautiful. The entire visit lasted about one hour and cost $20 for two adults, kids are free. I look forward to being able to
This little overlook provides an amazing view! It wasnât super busy, but itâs surprisingly chilly out so it may be that. Plenty of room for the kiddos to run around and play, just be careful of the construction areas!
Wonderful experience in December. Not overly crowded, weather was wonderful. I even found a wild honey bee hive in a tree along the road when we parked. Beach was beautiful as well. White sand beach.
Worth the wait. There is a small outdoor area to sit and eat but no indoor seating. Everything is basically "to-go". That being said it is sooooo good. One of tge places you will go again and again. Biscuits are delicious but the chorizo tacos are ou
