Beach Shell Inn - Hotel in Fort Myers Beach - 2610 Estero Blvd, USA

My wife and I really enjoyed our 4th of July visit. The room has a newly remodeled feel and had very cool air conditioning. The owner obviously takes pride in his property and I felt it was a great value compared to similar beach properties. The pool was well maintained and the guests were very family friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Clean rooms, great location, free chairs and umbrellas for the beach, beach towels, comfortable king bed, clean bathroom, warm pool, nice seating under an overhang if it is raining, owners and cleaning crew were kind and respectful, free coffee in the morning, and we could even check in early since our room was ready (or leave our bags at the front). I highly recommend for someone traveling on a budget but not wanting to sacrifice comfort. It isn't a resort, but it is way better than your average motel. New floors and paint in rooms made it feel updated. One recommendation: A quick power wash of the siding would really clean up the exterior appearance!

This is a great little place in a very convenient location. It’s not the fanciest place you will stay, but it is clean and well-maintained. It has a nice pool you can use after a long hot day at the beach. Very easy access to the beach and walking distance from many good restaurants. I would stay here again.

Very cute old style florida place. Owners are very kind. The hotel is Clean, has updated floors, and has room service daily. This hotel has a nice pool and direct beach access just a few steps away. We would recommend for couples looking for a place to sleep near the beach and entertainment. If you are looking for fancy rooms, free breakfast, and a more updated expirence I'd recommend staying else where.

The rooms here are very basic and have not been updated in a long time. The room I stayed in had a pretty strong musty odor that stuck with us on our clothes and luggage. The front desk staff are not in the office during office hours and instead have you push a button for service. We waited anywhere from 5-10 minutes for help during times that should have been staffed. There is quite a bit of noise at night from the main road and from other rooms/tenants. The rooms do no block much noise. Location near the beach is the only positive.

Courteous and accommodating staff. Rooms are simple yet extra clean! Walk to the beach in 1/2 minute and located on a ; non-populated beach that is pristine. Pool is clean and maintained well as are the surrounding grounds. Highly recommended for extra close to the beach on a budget! Over the past five years I’ve rented here at least 7 times. Best value for the dollar!

No frills place, steps from the beach! About a mile walk to the pier. The pool is warm and clean. Rooms are tidy and small. Turned out to be a cozy spot for 2 for a few days

Id say a 4.5 I have to say this was a lot better than we thought, looks are deceiving. They let us check in an hour early. Room was clean, new fridge, microwave. Clean bathroom and shower, they offer free chairs and umbrellas. Pool was clean. Staff was nice. Way better than paying 300-600 a night for a room. Well worth it if you plan on being on the beach and out doing things. Had a lock box in room as well. Its also just a one minute walk to the beach.
