Beach Motel & Suites - Hotel in Old Orchard Beach - 5 Summit St, USA

I will be back, next time with a crew of people so be prepared to have your rooms filled. Lol all jokes aside I loved everything about this place. It was so cute, quite and a little of everything you need. Amber was awesome, very helpful and informative. The male employee props to you for coming to save the day. Only downfall, sink is a tad too close to the toilet but it's definitely doable. Otherwise, they had grills, corn hole, pool toys, plenty of tables and chairs. It was barley a 5 minute walk to the pier, beach and carnival. Thank you for making my first Maine experience everything I hoped for.

Amber and Tyler were absolutely the most amazing hotel clerks I’ve ever encountered! My trip to OOB wasn’t going as planned (nothing to with them) and Amber went out of her way to accommodate me along with making sure I was okay. All parties were all very considerate & welcoming. The rooms are super cute…. I’d say rustic beach vibes. Not only were the rooms cute but they were secure and clean. I most definitely would 10/10 recommend, hoping I have the time to come back this summer…If not will definitely be back very soon.

Location was good considering the price - around a five minute walking distance to the beach. Rooms were clean. Bed was OK - not great but tolerable. The pillows on the bed were bad but we were quickly supplied with extras upon request. The main issue with the room was the shower; it was very easy to turn the hot water too high (especially since the heating rate is kind of erratic) and even a slight adjustment could cause scalding. There was also no bathmat (we had to use our own beach towel) so jumping out of the shower to avoid the aforementioned scalding water could cause a huge mess. I would definitely not trust a kid to operate the showers. Putting up a warning or instructions could easily have avoided this, as the shower is perfectly fine IF you know what you're doing.

I recently stayed at the Beach Motel & Suites and it felt like a home away from home despite its age. The nostalgic charm reminded me of childhood camp adventures. The pros definitely outweigh the cons - smaller bathrooms and dated dressers are easily overlooked. The pool may be petite, but it’s crystal clear and comfortably warm. The best features are the prime location, just a short stroll away, and the exceptional manager, Amber. Her attentive service is unparalleled - she anticipates your needs almost magically. Amidst soaring prices in Old Orchard Beach, this spot stands out for its cleanliness, hospitality, and convenience. It’s a gem!

Just finished a girls weekend here, and would definitely stay again. The place was very cozy, and our suite had 2 bedrooms, perfect for anyone that enjoys some privacy. Also the management is extremely hospitable. The pool was refreshing too. Hotel is also a short walk to the all the action. Anyone that is looking for an unfussy stay would enjoy

My stay at the Beach Motel and Suites was great. The rooms were cozy and the location can’t be beat, but the best thing about my stay was the Manager Amber! Amber was accommodating and gracious and really made our stay that much better. I will definitely be back because Amber made our whole group feel like we were visiting friends and not at a hotel.

Do not stay here if you value your safety!! At 650am on our first night an unknown man ented our "locked" room when only our 13 year old daughter was awake in the room. When confronting management about the issue that we no longer felt safe and wanted to leave and get a refund for the night we wouldn't be staying they at first promised to move us to another property only to reverse course, accused my child of lying called the police and kicked us out of the property once we started really complaining. My daughter is traumatized and we were treated like criminals with no care about the safety concern for other guests. Never again!! Edited for Response: Amber what a joke! Too bad we found other reviews (there's more than one) of OTHER PEOPLE complaining that someone entered their room in the middle of the night with the EXACT SAME OUTCOME that's a pattern. Amber that's a serious safety concern not a joke. You claimed when my husband asked about this that this has never happened before which is clearly a straight out lie because not only has it happened before you kicked the people out who said the same. If someone you don't know enters your hotel room in the early morning of course you would start yelling about it. And of course you won't admit there's video proof (clearly deleted) so you don't get sued. Next time I will definitely dive deeper into reviews before booking a room. I have no problem posting these old reviews again if you are going to misrepresent what happened.

The location is perfect, easy walk to the beach, pier, carnival but just away from all the noise. The pool is small but refreshing. The manager Amber could not be nicer, she's a gem. All of this made up for the fact that the rooms are old and small, the kitchenette was sparsely stocked, the sink faucet was broken and there was a rip in the rug. It was clean though. The shower was nice too.
