Last minute booking to celebrate my birthday! Love that it's pet friendly and they are okay with you leaving your pets in the room. It was quiet. The pool was nice, rooms are clean. I didn't realize there was not a hair dryer in the room or I would have brought mine. The management was great! Addressed me by name upon arrival and very informative. Gave me a list of all dog friendly places in the area. I would definitely stay here in the future especially with the pups!
Quiet little place in the Crest! We were unexpectedly re-booked here when our other hotel was under construction. The management was very nice and communicative. Our room was ready earlier than check in time which was great. Hotel is no frills, but very clean. Pool is nice. This is a pet friendly hotel, but management keeps things very under control. We didn’t hear barking and nothing smelled like animals. No ocean view but a very short walk to the beach. And there is a jitney stop right outside!
Have stayed here a few times. Service is great. The owner is very very nice and very responsive. She’s prompt in returning calls and patient while checking several dates and answering questions. It’s a dog friendly hotel which is a huge deal when wanting to include your fur babies in your vacation. The hotel is kept clean. Rooms are nice. Pool and its sittings area is clean and makes for a nice swim. Location is great. Walk to the beach without crossing the street. There’s a nice sitting area with grill for guests to use. I’ve seen couples and families stay here, with and without a dog. That shows that all types of guests like to stay here. Would definitely recommend :)
From booking to check-out, this was a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean and atmosphere was inviting. Fresh towels were delivered every day. The pool and pool area were clean, including grills! Lots of families making memories. Pet friendly motel, short walk to a huge park perfect for dog walks. Wonderful experience at the Beach Colony. Easy access to Jitney shuttle service to get back and forth to the boardwalk. Leslie, the manager, was a pleasure to work with. Close to the beach which is also very clean. Overall great weekend for our first Barefoot Country Music Festival.
We just booked a room for the 2nd time. The location is great. Close to the parks which are dog friendly, and close to the beach. The Motel is just as represented. Rooms are clean and so is the pool and grounds. Leslie is so nice and very accommodating. The perfect pet friendly place to stay. We are looking forward to our stay!!
We love staying at Beach Colony! Any time we come to the Crest we stay here, nowhere else! So close to the beach, and all of the best little breakfast spots!
When booking through their website it charged an additional $50 in resort fees and then another $180 in “misc fees & taxes”. This was on top of the $189 charge for the room, this was without warning. There wasn’t a summary before your card was charged. When I called they offered my 20% refund after I complained. So I got $80 back, frustrating for a cheap overnight stay!
We loved the Beach Colony! It was very clean and great location. Leslie was so nice.

This is a beautiful well- designed venue. The sound system was excellent . The jazz trio was very good but the crowd was sparse. Traditional jazz is not popular with vacationers in Wildwood Crest.
