Beach Break & Bakrie - Cafe in Bethany Beach - 123 Garfield Pkwy, USA

This is the best breakfast location in Bethany, hands down. They make everything fresh, from scratch, to order each day and per meal. The muffins and pastries are so good we eat at least 2 per person per day and we bring home dozens to give to family and friends. Their breakfast sandwiches are worth any wait. Everything is very worth the cost, the staff is always friendly and helpful.

A local place with good breakfast sandwiches, bagels and coffee. I’m impressed with how they managed the customers on a busy Triathlon weekend. It was swamped with wet, hungry spectators and the staff of three worked together to get the orders out. Check out the outdoor seating if the weather cooperates and don’t forget to tip the nice people who work the counter.

Food is DELICIOUS. love the muffins and scones and sandwiches. The reason I knocked them one star is because the cashier told me it would be a 20 minute wait and I was waiting on two sandwiches for over an hour. Great spot but don’t go if you can’t wait that long because that tends to be the case when I’ve went

Good food that is well priced! I genuinely don't think I've had a better breakfast sandwich. I got the "Classic" (egg and cheese w/ choice of bread and meat) with bacon on a plain bagel and added avocado. The iced coffee is good and the cheapest in the area. sadly, it's slow. I went in once and was the only customer in the store, and my order took 15 minutes. On busy days it takes an upwards of 25. Also, not a big deal, but the store itself is really hot. It cooler to sit outside in 90 degree weather. They do have plenty of lovely outdoor seating and they bring your food out to you, which is a huge plus.

We waited an hour and a half for two bagels one with cream cheese and one with egg and cheese. The bagels were fine but the wait made them simply not worth it. Don't go here stay away go anywhere else on the boardwalk there is so many better options please do not go here.

The Cuban sandwich is incredible but so is everything else. I could eat there 7days a week and twice on Sunday. Everyone working there is very friendly.

I've resisted leaving a review in the past, assuming i'm doing something wrong. And remained consistently polite in spite of just flat out rude staff. Like, they're rude from go, every time. They're nice to the BBP, so I guess maybe it's a local vs tourist thing? Could be ageism, I suppose; I am old compared to 18yos. Also they appear to not follow standard health code when prepping food; eg, the employees mixing batter and not wearing anything to keep their long hair from falling in. Anyway, I get it - working service is not fun, and I imagine I'd dislike tourists if I were a local. So I don't begrudge these teens their anger... but it does make the place unpleasant.
