Poor value for money. The only item that might be worth it is getting the unlimited bowls and taking home plenty of food. Do not buy anything that is not a bowl regardless. It is overpriced and portions are much smaller than expected/advertised. Note the difference between the amount of General Tso's Chicken pictured on the menu and the amount received. (I did stir around the dish a bit before taking a picture, in disbelief of what I had received, but did not eat any of the chicken). I am rarely disappointed with portions, but due to false advertising on the menu I felt like I was getting scammed. After asking the manager twice for more chicken he eventually obliged, but not without adding extra charge that was not mentioned beforehand. It took saying that this would be posted on social media for him to remove the extra charge. Additionally, the quality of the food doesn't make up for anything either. It tastes no better than a frozen meal off the shelf of Walmart. Overall, I recommend avoiding this restaurant, and instead taking your business to any other local Asian cuisine, which will likely be about half the price, and taste much better. In spite of all this, the most disappointing aspect of our visit was the attitude of the manager.
Get a bowl 🥣. #1 Select meat 🍖 and seafood 🍤, #2 Add some egg 🥚 & veggies 🫑🥕🍅if you need and #3 get some sauce 🫙 for your fry. 🔥Head down to the grill area and place your bowl on numbered points. Chef 👩🍳👨🍳 will pick your bowl and cook on the grill. This does take a good 5-10 mins. Food cooked well but a bit more oil would be nice. Appetizers/starters/entrees are available but I wouldn't go for that if considering the bowl as 🥣 is a large portion. Other options from Al carte are available. 🧑💼 Staff are enthusiastic and attentive. If your group is six or more then tips 15% is added automatically to the bill. Easy free multi level parking less than 100m. Some outdoor seating available.
Good food. Options like scallops are no longer on the menu but still good. There are no real seafood options except for calamari. It seems to be a great place to have a birthday since there were many celebrations going on and the staff sings to those who are celebrating. The salad bar is included if you get the unlimited buffet options. Although there are more limited options have actually increased since the last time I visited. Great location in the middle of everything. The fried oreos is still my favorite dessert. It may be that seafood of what happened with covid and price is a concern for the restaurant but that is just speculation. The staff was kind and attentive.
Very strange concept. Whitney Houston ballads and shania Twain on the radio, bunch of servers hanging around the front desk but no one took initiative to begin the service, we just had to talk to the group..? The manager opened the door for us, while it’s a nice gesture, still strange considering the entrance is also an exit and thus a bottleneck of too many people around the door. Didn’t seem busy but not really an urgency to clean a couple of dirty tables. They did clean it eventually but it was the first thing I saw walking to my seat after seeing a too many people at the reception. The food was meh and not worth the price at all. In fact, if the price wasn’t so high, I probably would’ve not minded the strange ambience. Or if the food was at least good. The rangoons were fried until they were rock hard to bite into. The Bangkok stir fry was bland with the pineapples being the best part of the dish and the Mongolian had good flavour but also not intense enough, diluted flavour. Some pieces of beef were chewy and not cooked properly. Portions are huge but that’s about the only good thing. Our server was at least nice but I asked for recommendations and if this is what they have to offer then… I don’t think I’ll be back. Overall, nothing amazing about this place. Nothing too terrible either. But definitely not worth $20 a person. More like $8 for the portions.
We normally love Mongolian BBQ but when I say my husband's food was burnt its probably an understatement. They clearly didn't clean the grill and some how thought serving him completely char was acceptable. If you are wondering if maybe it was the lighting or his sauce that caused the black color it was not. I should have done a side by side with mine. The sad thing is his dish was full of noodles and it's so unbelievably charred you can't even tell. I'd also say their way of selling fried rice is a bit sketch.... would you like fried rice for a small upcharge?.... that upcharge is $8.50 a person. It was a huge portion size too and I then heard a waitress tell someone who asked how large an order of fried rice is that its a small dish which definitely wasn't true either. Just not the greatest experience
Got the Korean quesadillas and create-your-own-bowl. The Korean quesadillas were interesting, kimchi tasted relatively authentic, and the accompanying sauce really complimented it. Very flavorful. The bowl has a lot of great options and the portion size is enough for at least a meal and a half. Tastes fresh and delicious. Ordered takeout and it was done quickly. App also has great deals periodically as well as discounts on Tuesday takeout. Not the best price-wise but I guess considering the unique tastes and pretty fresh ingredients, it might be worth it.
First time here, and first it was a little scary because you pick your ingredients, protein, and spices, and then you bring them to the chef, and he cooks it all together on this big stone; you also pick the sauce you would like for them to add as they are cooking your food. This was a wow experience. I gathered all the ingredients everything tasted amazing. I wish they had one of these back at home. The service was on point, and the location in a nice area where you can walk around after and see other stores or watch a movie
Love this place! We have been multiple times for date nights and with our kids and have never had a bad experience. Have also ordered through door dash a few times and everything is correct and just as good as if you were eating at the restaurant. Staff is always friendly and everything including bathrooms are always kept clean. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal!
