BD's Mongolian Grill - Asian fusion restaurant in Wichita - 111 S Rock Rd, USA

This place has an excellent variety of items to add to your Mongolian dish. Tasty food, good quality food items and clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Anytime I'm in Wichita, I always make a point to come here to grab lunch or dinner.

I have eaten here multiple times and always loved it. Me and my family preferred to eat here cause our server we normally have is amazing and remembers us. Unfortunately he was not there tonight and we got a waitress who seemed very new and didn’t pay much attention to us. Drinks never got refilled. Now the food I always load my bowl and it comes out amazing, but tonight me and my wife got bowls full of burnt meat and burnt noodles. The time it took to get our bowls even tho the place was not busy one bit took longer then it ever has. This one bad experience has definitely changed our opinion on the restaurant.

I often stop by BD's to get dinner for my family. Today we stopped by and picked up bowls to go. Once we got home, we noticed that the food had been over cooked... the shrimp can't be chewed, the eggs are fried hard and onions burned... extremely disappointed and won't be back.

We sat down and Princess immediately greeted us with warmth and expertise. The BD's we're used to in Kansas City works a little differently, so she talked us through the history of this location and how it works. Fantastic attitude and lots of love for Princess!! Good service by the cooks, who took our bowls and worked their magic. We'll have to come back!

The wait staff was friendly and super helpful. The place kind of seems of hollow and not well decorated and the vibe is more budget pizza buffet and less Mongolian eatery experience. Food isn't too bad, though I think more options of vegetables would be appropriate.

Highly recommend sitting at the bar and trying a few drinks (she’s good.) It was was my first time here and wow they really helped walk me threw the easy steps. You get to pic exactly what u want down to the sauce and veggie. Throwing it all into a good sized bowl. That makes for an amazing bowl if you play your cards right. Oh best part yet you get to load as much meat as u want! If your want to be more creative with your stir-fry. Definitely come here!

Waiting 15 min for a refill on our drinks when the place was empty. We got our checks before we even got napkins for forks or anything. Then when we asked for refills she brought the Togo box and check like we didn’t just ask for a drink. Worst server I’ve probably ever had. And I was a waitress for three years. She also left togo boxes in the middle of me and my date in the middle of eating without us asking. And didn’t bring the check tell about 20 minutes after we where done eating. Couldn’t find her anywhere. Then she came out and sat at the bar on her phone ignoring tables. My god the professionalism is so great here.

So this was my first time and experience with this type of restaurant, You are given a ball and you can put as much as you want in it and they'll cook it for you in front of you.. it was actually cool. The best time to go is from 3 o'clock to 6. They have a awesome happy hour with half Price Appetizers and alcohol beverages. The waitress was knew ,She said she had only been there 2 days, but she was totally awesome. With the cutest name (Athries) very sponky 😊 definitely will try it again
