BB's Tex-Orleans - Cajun restaurant in Cypress - 26010 Hempstead Rd, USA

We really enjoyed our experience at BB's Tex-Orleans and was a bit surprised there weren't more people there. We went for their Restaurant Week menu and we were not disappointed. For $25 you got an appetizer, jambalaya with rice and entree with crispy shrimp and fries with large portions, we had plenty to take home. The atmosphere is very fun and felt very much like New Orleans. Our waiter was really on top of things and kept our glasses full. Our food was delicious and hot! We really loved the hospitality and will be back.

Great food if you’re craving for fried seafood!! We got seated quickly and received our orders in a timely manner! The hush puppies were so good!! Fried shrimp & oysters are super fresh and the breading on them is perfect!

BB's always satisfies. I love their shrimp & grits and their Pecan Chicken. They have great gumbo and the bread they make their po' boys on is fantastic, sent in from a New Orleans bakery every day. The servers are always very pleasant.

Our 2nd time here and everything was delicious. Our waitress was so helpful and just a delight to talk to. We ate, took photos, and laughed the whole time we were there. I highly recommend this place. Love the decor too!

Excellent food and delicious Po’ Boys!

Me and my husband came here today for lunch. It was our first time coming to this location. When we first walked in and went to the host stand a rude older gentleman approached us no hello or greeting , grabbed two menus and walked off to seat us. We ordered 5lbs of the “wet” crawfish and 1/2lb of shrimp with mushrooms and alligator sausage. The crawfish tasted as tho they were previously frozen and were extremely over cooked as well as extremely over-seasoned on the outside. The shrimp were also extremely over cooked , tasted as tho they had been previously frozen and were rubbery. The alligator sausage tasted like just regular sausage and wasn’t good either. The only good thing was the loaded fries. Service was good and very attentive. Definitely not worth 80$ We did ask the server if it was fresh or frozen seafood and he said it was fresh but it definitely was not.

We went for Fat Tuesday! We sat outside it was a nice day! Crawfish, Boudain balls good, My catfish po boy and chicken sausage gumbo was okay, I think if it was good and hot it would have been better! We enjoyed the Hurricanes as well.

Very interesting menu, been a few times and I've enjoyed the food. A rare compliment from me is they have abnormally good fries, I really don't care about fries but I really like the thin crispy style they have. Be patient with the young staff they aren't firing on all cylinders, the waitress hit me with the "I'm new please be patient with me", and when they swamped her section things got real slow.
